Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by Goodenoch:
We’ll soon be testing the “immigrants are taking our jobs; if they weren’t here wages would be higher and our young people would work instead of staying on benefits forever” hypothesis.

The “‘immigrants’ will always come to work here no matter how you squeeze them for fees, constrict their opportunities to advance their careers and use policies to condemn them to permanently working jobs Brits don’t want to” is already being disproven, just like the “the UK education industry is completely fine without foreign students” has been disproven.

Eventually, we’ll get to the one about whether the economy as a whole; and public services like the treasured NHS in particular, are completely fine without immigrants as well, as Farage, Badenough and Lowe would have their sheep believe.

They should carry on, please. It was the same rethoric from Zia's speech yesterday of how his parents, Suellas and Mahmoods were the only set of immigrants that worked very hard and contributed to the UK development while the Boris wave are just roaming the streets of Britain looking for benefits.

Are you trying to say its not the fault of immigrants? Do you want us to increase the years to settlement to 200? Please respect yourself please! My parents were better immigrants than yours so keep your opinions to yourself and accept the 200 year route please!

Personally I don’t believe the news. I know for sure that only brown immigrants assault children, as I’m reminded daily by the Daily Heil.

This must be fake news, no way sex trafficking was happening right in Buckingham Palace.

When I was laid off from my previous job last year an elderly Brit expressed to me how sad she was hearing about my job loss, she lamented that in a country where many are unwilling to work here am I willing to work yet being laid off and finding it difficult then to get back into the workforce, the people know the truth themselves yet the politicians keep manipulating the ignorant and uneducated ones among them. Let them continue till they carry them go where they no know

In other unrelated news, I just had a look at EB1A requirements as a Dr I know is tired of the UK and its immigration rhetoric (surprise surprise) and it does seem like the UK went to copy and paste their Global Talent visa requirements from there or should we say modelled after it

shocked

Still waiting to see changes to the GTV they said were coming anyways

Hehe... you sef...

Deport him and protect our women! He has failed to integrate into British culture.

Eitherway, though late, in handling this episode, they're not mimicking the U.S.

The best combination in my opinion, is to combo all of them......

Work pension, state pension, ISA & SIPP....... With the ISA, you can deep your hands into it, whenever and however, if the need arises.......

The beauty of all this schemes, it reduces your disposable income, thereby reducing your black tax and makes you more financially prudent & savvy..... 😂 🤔

Be a proud Akagon...... 🙄 😂

In times like this, it's difficult to challenge certain narratives. Lets not miss the forest for the trees.

Most of the economic growth that the world would see in the coming decades would likely be outside the West.
If not for the snippet you quoted, I don't read that guy's post because I see him like someone practicing writing and just needs an audience. The other time he gave a timeline for youths to leave Nigeria otherwise they'll become useless to humanity.

That same place we say is not good is where others are making it big. The problem now is people seems to be aligning with his opinion.

True... I agree.
Flexibility of ISAs are unrivalled. Tax rebates and perks on pensions are good. The holding period in pensions is both a pro and a con. No easy fiddling so the money truly does grow but can't be used for emergencies.

Lol @black tax... but na true finally. Once ISA and pension targets are set for the year and direct debit set up, other expenses come afterwards. Also, because there's a set target, one can also decide to do extra work to fill them up. They are truly good tools.
The equivalent of ISA in Canada has an allowance of just about £3700. Maximum SIPP equivalent is about £18k and more complex. Both thresholds are adjusted for inflation every year but the difference is still significant.

I usually welcome opposing views as it enables me X-ray my thoughts manytimes bringing to the fore my blindspots. There is no one way to success afterall. However, where I draw the line is when people start denigrating others or making unfounded statements.
If you feel you have seen the light, then share make we follow know road. However, if your 'light' is putting down a whole continent and your people for some phantom pathway, then you should X-ray your thought process.

The earlier, the better. In 6 weeks, the annual allowance resets.

First time I’m seeing a detailed catalogue of all the shenanigans this woman got up to over years (and this is just a summary) and it’s incredible to me still gets treated with kid gloves by British media while Meghan Markle still gets attacked for every little thing like what colour her dress was, whether she smiled in a photo and other stupid nonsense like that.

There’s even a sub populated by 20k+ cret*ns dedicated to hating her day in day out, and it’s comical how they’re bending over backwards to minimize Andrew the nonce and his sleazy wife’s own actions because it makes their hypocrisy so obvious. https://www.reddit.com/r/SaintMeghanMarkle/new/
