More strange and pathetic is the ideal of the traditional worshipper claiming there's a god of fertility, another god for prosperity, another for safety, etc.

If there are far more gods than humans, what's the point of being a god?

The Christian God is one Supreme higher being that created every other beings which many includes spirit rulers as well as humans and all other living and non-living things.

The spirit rulers under God's control is what many call gods. But in reality, the gods of men are rebellious spirits that believe that they know a lot about God and godship so they deserve to be worshipper like God Himself.

They believe in Papa Legba and Ogun. That is clearly Yoruba gods. Papa Legba is Elegba in Yoruba also known as one of the names of Esu. Papa Legba is one of the most important gods of Haitians if not the most. Haitian gods are Vodun and IFA mix.

A lot of Yoruba are from Royal or chiefly families. So taking them as slave is calamity waiting to happen for the slavers. They already believe they are too good to be slaves. So, they will organize huge problem for such.

When I'm on the sea and don't know direction of the kabah, I can pray and face anywhere. The Kabah is only to make Muslims organised and united nothing more. Do you see anyone mentioning the Kabah in supplication?
