People can call themselves anything, some paedophiles call themselves clerics, some lazy conmen who see the pulpit as last bus stop to make a living call themselves pastors, don't take what people say, watch what they do, by their fruits you know them.

We must stop respecting people because they tag themselves pastors or imams, if they mess up or break the law, deal with them ruthlessly.

The woman even tried by adding Mr to his name. Many of us addresses Buhari, Goodluck Jonathan, Peter Obi Bola Tinubu and OBJ without adding anything and even the Bola Abiodun that look like what I don't know do same. The man deserves beating seriously.

I don’t have to acknowledge the title you prefer to go by. You can say I should call you “His Royal Majesty”…God knows I will not do so. A real Dr (whether PhD or MBBS) would have disengaged, not run amok. And to be honest, a real Doc will not demand to be called a Doc. You will call them Doc on your own. If someone has to demand respect, they should know that they lost that respect long ago.
