Soludo! Who Authorised The Payment Of 100 Million Naira To Egbotokuns Son??? by owobokiri(op): 10:18am On Feb 25
Things are happening!

Within the last few hours, the inspector General of Police, Mr Kayode Egbotokun was sacked by his principal President Tinubu.
While the police head has overstayed his retirement age, the sudden nature of his sack was somewhat startling, that's if you take into consideration the fact that he has been the man Friday for the president.

As his successor Mr Tunji Disu(Tinubus former ADC in Lagos state while he was governor there) was being announced, media reports projecting different reasons as to why he was kicked out, started to emerge. One of those reports stated that around 100 million naira was paid in directly to the accounts of his son from the vaults of Anambra States "security votes"! (For those who don't know, "security votes" in Nigerias administrative set ups, is nothing but the piggy bank for the chief executives - that's the governors and the president... )
They do with it whatever they like.. always..

The Anambra State Government has been quiet in the face of this monumental charge. The loquacious governor who thrives in endless political bickerings, has gone awol. Yet, the charge is not going away. Infact, the noise surrounding it is just gathering momentum. Just few hours ago, the spokesman of the Police Force has come out to openly corroborate the "payment" , while trying to exonerate his former boss, by saying the payment was "a mistake" and was immediately "reversed"!
Soludo and his team seem to be still struggling trying to come up with a convincing narrative to deploy as they would try to deflect..
It is messy..

It is important to remember that this payment was made around the time the Anambra State governor was dealing with his re-election business. It is also very very important to know that this payment was made into the PERSONAL ACCOUNT of the son of the now "ex" Inspector General of Police, who has no official role in the running of the Nigerian Police Force. Essentially, this is the height of illegality.
We might be dealing with a monumental act of corruption here...

Soludo needs to start talking. Thankfully, he knows how talk. So let's see how he talks himself out of this one. Nigerians need to know whether he was buying peacocks from Egbotokuns son with Anambra States security votes. Or was he making payments to the Police for for a job well done through a non police officers bank accounts.., or was it just a case of buttons pressing themselves, flagrantly, as the spokesman of the police force alleged, and all of a sudden money in hundreds of millions moved from Anambra States accounts at Sterling Bank into the private account of Mr Egbotokun junior!?@?!
And most importantly; how many of these sort of transactions happened over the last few years between Anambra State/Anambra States security votes/Soludo and others...?

Somebody should tell Prof Chukwuma Soludo to start talking. This of all times, is not the time to go mute...
Charlie Nwamgbòfaor, what happened?

It's really disheartening that politicians keep wasting resources to strengthen their hold to power while the poor masses continue to suffer. An average politician wants crisis to continue because of their financial benefits. That's why poverty is being weaponized. It is only revolution that will usher in the needed change. The politicians keep strengthening their grip on power and are ready to do anything against opposition.

You are just bitter that despite your shenanigans, Professor Chukwuma Soludo CFR, won his re-election 21/21 landslide, something Peter Obi couldn't achieve as Anambra people considered his regime a failure.

Was Soludo contesting against one Peter Obi in the Anambra gubernatorial electionshuh Why are you wailing about Peter Obi then?
What kind of inebriated outburst is that?
We are talking about 100 million naira being transferred illegally to an unofficial account, and you're here moaning about Peter Obi.
What the correlation?

It's obvious your mind is made up already, you don't need his side of his story, you only need to validate your biase against him. Whatever he says won't make sense to you.

Has it been proven. This was asked on Twitter. N100M transferred before election to a private account. EFCC will never see this

Meaning what?

A transfer was initiated by the State Government . Who authorized the transfer? Who is egbetokuns son in the equation?

It's already an illegal act. So stop the fake rants of balancing issues.

100 million Naira does not randomly leave Anambra state's coffers for an account linked to a relative of our nation's chief police officer for no good reason. One does not need the brains of Einstein to conclude that there is something unseemly about this development, the kind of perfidy best explained by Soludo himself.
