Jamiuokolaa:Any coach can do all this. The fact is that I’m not yet convince carrick is the right man for the job. Next 5 matches will be a big test for him to at least convince me a little |

Englishisamust:You're funny. You keep shifting the goalpost after each game week. At first, you said you were waiting for us to play against teams that defend deep, we have gone away to West Ham and Everton and come out with a respectable 4 pts, but you're again shifting the goal post...Who dey pursue you? |

Looks like my fear that Carrick current tactics will be studied is now reality, Everton came into the game well prepare and knew how to easily cut our passes and block passing lanes, making Casemiro, Mainoo, Bruno, Cunha, Mbeumo and Amad ineffective for the better part of the match. Carrick has to do some tweaking and rotation going into the next games, expecially when playing low block teams. Sesko should start against Crystal Palace and maybe Heaven for Yoro (he was very uncomfortable against Everton)..... |

patrickmuf:Nobody dey pursue, there are some patterns I’m looking for before I can conclude carrick is the right man for the job, have not seen it yet. I waited for like 26 matches before I concluded lammens is the keeper will need right now. Like I said carrick have not yet convince me he is the right man for the job we need 20 matches more!!! The test is still going. !!!! |

I think is too early concluding Carrick is the right man for the job.l feel he is going to do wonderfully well till end of season. If he is retain next season will be the real test.Moyes was tactically better yesterday. He practically render our midfield useless. The way Cuhna was marked yesterday made me remember Herara(nt sure spelling is right) on Hazard during Mourinho stint with us. |

I v never liked Yoro but I feel he has improved a little.Sesko is gradually getting his groove. He can score out of nothing He should continue on his super sub role to gain more of that needed confidence |

Bruno had space and time He could have even scored. But played a wayward cross instead |

Ellexy:It is mainly in England that this has been happening. I am not seeing much of it when i watch other leagues. so i don't expect the World Cup to be significantly affected. It is crap football and whether it is FA, EUFA, FIFA, IFAB or whoever has to step in. You can't be manhandling the keeper like that at set pieces. I am not even blaming the teams doing it but the match officials that are allowing it. |

patrickmuf:It looks like it was a mild calf strain, so might be back next weekend or maximum 2 more weeks out. |

engrelvis:We missed Dorgu who always stretch the opposition with his work rate before Cunha enters in the second have. Dorgu, Shaw, Amad and Dalot inverts very well that is why Bruno has the freedom in our first few matches. And we also miss Martinez. In our Match against Everton Line breaking passes responsibility was left for Mainoo and Casemiro in the second phase yet they are no where near Martinez who does it at first phase and expertly too. I like the tactical reading of Carrick and his team. If given the opportunity to find the right more available fit they will do well. I am not saying they should hire him though |

CapitalCee:Rashford regen. Similar positives and negatives. Born in Germany but moved to England to join our academy at about age 10. He had injury issues that I suspect were linked to a growth spurt. He is now about 6”2 and very quick. He actually made his Under-21 debut last season at 16 before he had ever played Under-18. Hopefully he is past his injury woes. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Ellexy: 7:05pm On Feb 25 |
I remember the concerns about Cunha's work rate, always walking and strolling around the pitch but that has not been the case at all. The guy is an absolute workhorse. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by CapitalCee(m): 7:23pm On Feb 25 |
afrodoc2:Wow the guy is very good. What particular negatives about Rashford does he have? |

CapitalCee:Off the ball work rate not as good or consistent as his mates, much stronger against high lines than against low blocks, can have a bit of tunnel vision when running at defenders. He however had size, power, pace, finishing, and unique bits of skill like Rashford. |

This broda Amazing striker oh. But my God. He complains about every pass that doesn't come his way. Even when he was offside he just stops running and starts complaining Even after he scored he was angry and didn't celebrate Moaning up and down.

Be like Uefa wants Arsenal to win this UCL. And I don't understand how they have managed to avoid an all English tie in the next round

Look at this table, Manchester United sitting 20th on the discipline points ranking. Now before anyone celebrates or panics, let me explain what this actually means in simple terms. These “discipline points” are not league points. They are basically bad behaviour points. The more cards you collect, the more points you rack up, and in this case, more points is worse. Here’s how it’s usually calculated: - Yellow card = 1 point - Indirect red card (two yellows) = 3 points - Straight red card = 5 points - Misconduct from staff can also add points So every time a player gets booked, sent off, or involved in misconduct, those points add up across the season. If Manchester United are 20th with 38 points, it means we’ve accumulated the least disciplinary points in the league so far, in other words, we’ve been one of the most disciplined teams. Chelsea being top with 86 means they’ve collected the most cards and therefore the most disciplinary points. So finishing bottom of this table is actually a good thing. It means fewer reckless tackles, fewer suspensions, fewer unnecessary bookings. And for once, being 20th is something positive.

TrebleChamp:I think it was purely personnel issue. Moyes didn't do much of anything and the Hammers game was ponderous for this same reason. Cunha comes into the half spaces, that's where he likes to play. Amad is off form (still puts in elite defensive shifts though) and as usual wants ball to feet. he wouldn't run at defenders like he used to. Shaw doesn't or cannot overlap anymore. only Dalot can stretch play at the minute and he also doesn't do it consistently. Dorgu on the other hand likes to run in behind. when he was running in behind and Amad was coming short for the ball, but taking on and actually going past full backs, the game was much more stretched. created enough space for the guys in the middle to exploit. |

Aston Villa losing their local derby vs Wolves. A win this weekend will take us to third. |

Wolves 2 Aston Villa 0. Sundays match just became more important to United. A win against Palace on Sunday takes United to third position. Let's go United!!! |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 10:59pm On Feb 27 |
97th minute goal. Villa throw in the kitchen sink and Wolves score on the counter. Brilliant. They’re going to get relegated but that doesn’t stop them from pouring sand in Villa’s garri. This is their second win of the season. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by nitrogen(m): 11:08pm On Feb 27 |
Great result for us. Third position is here! God abeg. |

Goosethetruth:We need to come out with intent, pin them in their own half, and put the game to bed early. A 2–0 lead by halftime should be the standard in these kinda fixture. By the 65th minute, Zirkzee, Fletcher and Heaven should be getting minutes to keep their sharpness and match rhythm. Mehn...I miss when this was our norm. Hopefully we have finally turned the corner |
