I no even get strength argue with anyone, I dropped the Info with approximate prices, the exact amount I paid for 2 years visa was 2070 pounds so I put 2100 incase exchange rate goes up or it could be lower as well.

I never said IHS for 1yr study is lesser or equal to 1k as well… U can check my response again

I got an admission to UK school through PGCE as a physics teacher and It has been confirmed that I am eligible to 29,000 pounds bursary which will be paid for 10 months installment by the UK government (2900 per month). Now the school that offered me a place based on the bursary reduced my initial deposit from 50% to 25% which is 4000 pounds, approximately 8m naira. The school is starting tis sept 2025 and I have to pay the deposit by May in order to process my visa. The problem now is that I don't have 8m to pay for deposit. Please if anyone knows where I can get loan based on this I will surely pay back as soon as I start collecting the bursary or any other information on how I can go through this will be appreciated. This is a golden opportunity and I don't want it pass me by.

Secondly, after getting my CAS and TB test is there anything other thing I need to do before starting my Visa application?


Thirdly, Does it mean that after I've submitted my visa aplication is it a must to expect an interview?


Lastly, I literally don't know much about this process, please, is there anything else I need to be aware off as regards this process or journey?

Most of the time schools only refund if your application gets refused and not based on you using forged documents. I wont be surprised if those withdrawing their application are not refunded. Read your chosen school refund policy

When is the best time to make your deposit payment and apply for CAS for sept intake

I don't think there's a sch that doesn't refund,,,all refunds are based on conditions... First of all read all the conditions required for refund b4 concluding on non refund policy... below is d refund policy for NTU which I think applies to all schools..

Your advance payment is only refundable if one of these categories applies to you:

You have requested the return of your advance payment within 14 days of receipt of payment to NTU under the Consumer Protection Regulations 2014.


If your UK Student visa application is rejected (for non-fraudulent reasons). You will need to provide the visa refusal stamp in your passport and a letter from the Entry Clearance Officer explaining their decision with your refund request form.


If you fail to meet the academic conditions of your offer. Also if NTU has made an error in making the offer and now needs to withdraw the offer/CAS.


If you made the visa appointment in time for the latest enrolment date of the course, taking into consideration processing times, but there has been a delay in approving the decision by UKVI.


NTU is unable to provide the academic programme originally applied for, offered, and accepted and you do not want to accept a place on any alternative offered.

Hello Everyone. Please for October intake, when is the best time to start saving for the 28 days POF considering time CAS will be issued and time of visa application.

Also I learnt that I must still the money in my account after CAS has been issued till my visa is approved. How true is this?

My school is university of Chester

Now is the best. Once you have the money now you dont need to count any 28 days cos you have over many months

Almost all schools may find it difficult to refund now because they are short of funds. Little one they see they dont want to lose it. But read your school refund policy very well before you apply

I don't have all your answers; it seems you're asking for the second time, so I'll try my best to reply.

1. You can't bring a dependent if it isn't MRES.
2. I can't be sure, maybe check your proof of funds and ensure all your documents are correct.
3. Visa interviews are random and at the discretion of the visa officer handling your case, so just prepare.
4. I can't answer this either. Wishing you the best and just be prepared in case of an interview or anything.
