Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, has told the Taminu Turaki-led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, that he and his allies are ready if they decide to go to the Supreme Court.

Wike made it call on Monday after his faction of the PDP won nine appeals filed against them by the Makinde-backed Turaki faction

Recall that the Court of Appeal in Abuja on Monday dismissed the appeal brought before it by the Turaki-led faction of the party.

DAILY POST had reported that the Court also upheld the judgment of the Federal High Court in Abuja which on October 31, 2025, restrained the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, from recognizing the outcome of the 2025 National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Reacting, Wike said, “Today’s judgement is an opportunity for PDP to reconcile, but if they decide to go to the Supreme Court, it won’t augur well for the party.

If they insist on going to the Supreme Court, we’ll be ready for them. We won all nine appeals against them Today in court, and each comes with N2m cost totalling N18m against them.”

Nyesom Wike the drûn.kárd is doing exactly what he vowed to do, hold the PDP down for Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

But he has already written his name in infamy as one of those who, alongside the drug bárón, played the ignoble role of stifling the opposition, undermining democracy, and bastardizing the judiciary

We will be here for those who will try to rewrite history with lies and falsehoods, claiming that Wike and the drug bárón is a beacon of democracy and singing their praises

I have always maintained that PDP is the only party with national spread and acceptance to function as the opposition.

These people should bury their ego and salvage the party from total ruin.

We can't have a functional democracy without a robust opposition.

This people case is like obi and his followers case saying they will approach court over electoral act and forget same court headed by judges obi and his gang insulted when Tinubu and Wike offered them a house on mortgage for them to have roof on top of their heads and now he want to go the court and expect the judges he criticised to give him a win case ba? Wallahi if I'm a judge and obi enter my court for anything I will make sure I jail him regardless what brought him before me, I swear to God.

The same way APC would rig election, and when you complain they would say go to court.

Anyanwu has being suspended. And moreover, their tenure has ended, so the BOT should take over and appoint a caretaker committee, don't know what Wike is celebrating here, even Wike caretaker committee is not recognized so, but factions lost, only difference is that Turaki faction would be paying 18M

That was really the beginning of the whole PDP crisis... And for Wike as a PDP leader to have told the president (an APC leader) that he'll hold down PDP for him. It leaves so much questions in the mind of Nigerians.

The funny thing about this PDP nonsense is people claiming the judges were bribed but when Oyo state high court was issuing nonsense judgement they didn't see bribery. Wike for all his faults his a very straightforward individual like Trump, they are both bullies but if you're very smart you see them from miles away unlike Tinubu who won't even talk. Dealing with a Wike is very simple as long as you can be reasonable but when you choose to be unreasonable you go collect from this Don.

Wike has been shouting since January last year that PDP should allow their Secretary complete his tenure that lasted in November, I can't imagine the juju used on them, one month to the end of his tenure they decided to suspend him which led to all this.

If Tinubu could suspend Fubara and still fight for him to remain in office by stopping his impeachment, can't we all see how Sim now wants to kill himself to also deliver Rivers for BAT?. That's what a leader does. If Tinubu could reengineer Reno and FFK back to his side, that's leadership. You don't have to think you know it all. I pity Makinde who is now sending thugs to attack the Wike faction in Oyo, they won't give his candidates ticket and infact if APC can get a responsible human being as candidate for governorship Makinde will be finished.

Na the only mob who likes to shout online but can't bite in real life I pity. HellRufai shouted in by-election in Kaduna his ADC lost badly, Abuja elections came they lost terribly. In Osun no one is even talking ADC with their Secretary from there, even Benue is worse as the fight is just between APC members. Internet is never and will never be real.

The earlier people know that Wike is not bribing judges but just activating the stupidity of opposition the better for everyone to know that strategy is always bigger than chest beating. Where MNK and HellRufai today? Both incarcerated and heaven did not fall.
