There is a woman on my street that has stopped greeting me for the past 6 months. She saw me buying something from a supermarket that's close to her shop o. Well I have since moved on. Me wey nor first like talk sef.

My own personal experience still baffles me till date.I used to have a customer I buy pepper,tomatoes and other soup ingredients from most times cos hers are usually plenty and fresh.

One day I went to buy ingredients and she didn't have because there was scarcity.I decided to patronise her neighbour beside her..


To my greatest surprise..she started abusing me and she didn't sell for me...that do I patronise her before now..this is a woman I don't know o...not knowing she has started stalking me earlier.

Infact these my Ibadan people will not cease to amaze me..I was perplexed on that day.Never believe a sane person can behave in such manner...this is a woman that should be in her mid fifties or sixty years o .I just left her side without uttering a word.

Consequently, I just pass her and put my face straight..I no kuku send her before.


I wonder if I have become one of her competitors o.what a life!.

I no feet see where to buy things cheap and still decide to go buy expensive ones with same quality.

Even if you dey sell cheapest. I no go buy from you once your shop dey near my house even if na you dey sell cheapest. Na all this rubbish observing i no like on top my own money

How this story take concern Nairalanders?

You don't need to be emotional about this. Buy from the direct supplier to totally avoid the two sellers

If a seller treats me like Royalty, i'm always loyal even if i can get a better price elsewhere.

The only wise comment I've read here on this thread. It's normal to feel ripped off but you don't create enmity for yourself because of that. There would be some other things you would need that your newly found supplier would not have. That time, you might have to either patronize her reluctantly or you end up going miles to get it. Something you would have settled with wisdom.

Trust me, I might buy that 10 bags from you and buy extra 20 bags from the suppliers or the other shop.. That way, I'm patronizing all of you.

In fact, I do it around my office presently and I'm friends with many of them selling similar stuffs.

In the spirit of customership, i could have called her attention to the price difference before patronizing the other woman

It's not normal , some people are born greedy. Haba 10 bags. Even if she seels for #450 I will still by. A whole #500. Some of them are so mean that they will sell it for you at the rate they will sell one sachet. I don't look at faces oo. So far you didn't give me money , forget it. I can suffer or struggle to make my money and even beg at time and also beg to spend it. She never see anything, I will go to the factory and buy
