How The Fast Began:

She explained that her pastor announced a 21-day fast focused on seeking clarity in relationships. At the time, she already had someone in mind.

I'm a Christian. I don't believe my desire is different from God's will. I may not necessarily pray or fast to find out. If you love someone as a lady, tell him if the two of you could explore the possibility of getting married. It's exploration, not a must for him to accept.

Did you fast for him to propose to you? If yes, then there was a network problem.

The majority of religious people out there are just rolling balls of anxiety and fear, nothing more. Living life scares the literal crap out of them, which is why religion and its lies are the opium they mostly seek out. 🥱🥱

The Truth is the prayer partner and the guy have been nacking and dating secretly. I believe after revealing her prayer point to her prayer partner, she acted fast so the guy won't slip away.

Nigeria is in a religious bondage, all you need to do is have good morals and a good heart. Once a man thinks you have a good heart, he will come for marriage.

I think the prayer partner and the man she had in mind have been dating for sometime. I think the prayer partner shared the privileged information, about her friend wanting to marry her man, with the man. That was probably why the man had the conversation with the lady after the fast period that God was leading him in another direction with respect to marriage.

I don't blame him or her, however I expect the friend to have confided in her that the man she wants to pray about for marriage is already dating her. However shocking the information would be for her, it would help her to process her mind and prepare for such announcement.
