Please house i want to ask i got an offer for mres in business and management from university of Wolverhampton, i want to ask if it's worth it, the environment and job offer's during and after schooling considering how expensive university of Wolverhampton is for mres program

Omo!! E shock me too.. And my wife has been given their admission and got done with the credibility interview. Thank God we haven’t deposited the usual £4k before someone told me that in this month they have adjusted their deposit plan for naija student

Omo, that's very serious. Then why is it showing 4k on my portal? Or is it till when I actually want to pay it'll now bring up 10k?

I applied for my ECCTIS verification and below is the timeline of my experience.

The main delay occurred between 19th and 24th February due to the identity verification stage, where I had to capture my passport biodata page using the back camera and take a live photo using the front camera. I initially started the registration process on my laptop and assumed I would be able to simply upload images of my passport biodata page and photograph. However, the system does not allow uploads. You must take the photos directly using your device’s camera.

Taking these photos with my laptop was quite difficult, and the system only allows one attempt per day. After several unsuccessful attempts, I eventually logged into the portal using my mobile phone and completed the photo capture process successfully on 23rd February.

ECCTIS also contacted my university in Nigeria, which is a private university. I had already given the university a heads up to expect the email from ECCTIS and continued following up with them until they received the mail and responded. I did this because the entire ECCTIS process is designed to take 20 working days. If the university does not respond within that period, the portal closes the application.

In hindsight, using a phone for the identity verification step would have saved a few days in the process

The rule is from UKVI; they're probably making a lot of changes and want to ensure there are few applications with these new rules.

Not from the ukvi it’s from the school , it’s only the school that determines the amount they want as a initial deposit fee

This definitely reflects that those from these countries have shown the trend of NOT paying the rest of their tuition.
10k as deposit? Smh

Some schools are just over reacting to UKVI policies . Bolton deposit is still 5k , Wrexham hasn’t changed theirs too
