Glimpsetv:
A disturbing CCTV footage circulating online has raised serious concern after showing a group of young men allegedly breaking into residential apartments.

In the video, several young men can be seen moving through what appears to be a residential building corridor while holding cutlasses. The group is seen entering different apartments, raising fears about the safety of residents in the area.

Although the exact location of the incident has not been officially confirmed, some social media users claim the footage was recorded in Benin City, specifically in the Utesi area of Benin City.

Many Nigerians are expressing concern over rising insecurity and are calling on authorities to investigate the incident, while linking the growing insecurity to hardship under the APC-led government.

Others have also urged residents to remain vigilant and strengthen security measures around their homes.

The only problem is some people will be afraid to join the fight but the day we mean those 1million boys wey no reach 30 in numbers eh!!

The reason is, it is possible only one camera was mounted to that area which may even be far from where the robbers movements were recorded/captured. That place is big atleast 3 to 4 cameras will give a clearer picture and should be review everytime to see that the cameras give clearer view

You can make your point without resorting to harsh words bordering on insults.
The issue is whether or not our police stations are adequately equipped with data bases to cross reference / match faces/profiles captured on the CCTV footages during the so called later review you're touting.
Anything short of that is actually tantamount to home video.

It is sad that in Nigeria we just have CCTV to record, for us to later watch as "home video" after loss of property or life has happened.

Our so called CCTV have no responsive police or security agency to alert.
Cctv captures what happens in real time n provided to police for further action.

Dont expect one man to stay behind the Cctv throughout watching the Cctv. Although modern tech such as motion detection are nod in use immediately motion is detected it alert.

Their state governor and other governors are more focused on being reelected at all cost, along with the ruling party owning this failed state forever.

Not a single improvement from the mess created by the last administration.
The problem is the leaders, like u said , they are only interested in reelection, dem no even send those wey go vote for them,
If our leader put in the kind of effort they they use for election to save guard his people, crime will reduce,
Imagine where 15 boys go get ming carry Cutlass dey waka for street and there's no police to stop them or security officials,
I watched Spartacus fight then ,and I got myself 2 cutlasses, if I strike one and u dodge, I can't miss the second , those wey dey sharpen knife that year made a whole lot of money

Yeah... I think the biggest problem is the absence of an INDEPENDENT electoral board that ensures votes count.

I can't imagine such a body exists or a system of credibly free and fair elections exists, and we will have such abysmal leadership at all levels.

When leaders know they can get elected or reelected without the votes of those they lead (like Hope Uzodinma), they won't bother making the barest efforts.

There should a provision in place in which a personnel is fully seated and saddled with real time monitoring and update and once anything suspicious is noticed, alarm is raised immediately or the right team are contacted.

There are real time cctv equipments that you can see everything as its happening but thats only if you watch......you can then call the police immediately you observe any intrusion.
