For your information all JWs carry this everywhere we go as our identity card in case of immergency so once any medical personnel see this in someone who is a critically condition they know such a person is one of Jehovah's Witnesses who will never opt for blood transfusion no matter what happens!🙂

God did and you may want find out why God forbade blood even though he created it and humans can eat it. You need to understand intent first.

Then consider the different Bible portions that talks about abstinence from blood and why the elders and apostle in Jerusalem specifically mentioned to abstain from

1. Things strangled
2. Blood.


Then explain how else one can from blood.

Another issue to consider is this
Has there been any drugs, tablets or Cyrup that's usually consumed that uses components of blood from either animals or humans to Manufacture them?

If yes, then we're all complicit knowingly or unknowingly.


The closest I and most of us know of is venom from Snakes, to create Antivenum medications.
But Venom isn't blood.

This is apt critical thinking. The bible explicitly says to abstain from things strangled and from blood.

Apart from things strangled that we all know contains blood, how else can one abstain from blood given that medical or food products DO NOT contain blood.

After decades of martyr, public backslash and high mortality among members of named sect. Jehovah's Witnesses conscience or lifestyle directors (Governing body) has finally agreed to let there members accept blood transfusions at point of death.

Although this new update comes with conditions. Blood transfusions is still blood transfusions, whether is your blood, relatives blood or a strangers blood. Will they apologise for thousand of faithful adherents who preferred to die than save there lives medically? No
They've never apologised for deceiving anyone rather they'll blame staunch members for doing too much...

Personally I'm not a fan of blood transfusion,and I pray that I never fall Into a situation where I'll need one,my wife has done surgery 3 times and each of those times God has been kind by giving us doctors who are willing to apply current medical practices involving non blood procedures,and it worked perfectly well for us..so there are choices people make.lets leave them to their choices,after all the Bible says "every man will carry his own load' of responsibility for his actions

Of course non-blood procedures will definitely be ideal. We hope research advances and spreads to become more affordable and especially accessible and widespread.

There logic is that life belongs to God so its sacred. Scripturally according to jw GB interpretation BLOOD is a symbol of life so blood is life. Blood belongs to God

But yet again blood is not life is still a symbol of life.
My business logo is not equal with my business. I cannot sacrifice my business because of my business logo. Why are jws taught to sacrifice there precious life because of blood? Why are they so hard on themselves? They're definitely not pleasing anyone not even themselves doing too much

JW is a cult. I was once part of them but I left when I studied the scripture and saw that JW had their own manipulated book that denied the deity of Christ.

Someone said up there said that the Bible admonished to abstain from blood. But he dishonestly said external blood and not yours without scriptural backing. These people will not stop taking scripture out of context

Faith is not about what we know 100% but God's people move together as One family. Surely things weren't clear on the matter before now but thanks to the holy spirit we now have a perfect understanding regarding that Bible verse!🙂

A member of the congregation owns the card to help identify himself anywhere he/she goes as a JW so if you choose not to have it nobody can force it on you!🙂
