Refused= Married with a son (no proof), working as a businessman, Tourist visa, personal bank account
New application = Married legally with proof, Govt. work, Partner visa or Skilled Visa
They will review the last form. Even if you did not provide proof, the records are there once you submit your biometrics.
The visit visa form usually requests the name and date of birth of your spouse and children if you mention you have those.

On the new form, the child/dependent section can be left blank or ignored (i.e., you simply do not mention any dependants). However, on the partner/spouse section, it is very likely to flag because you previously entered a name and date of birth. You would then need to explain the change in details… for example, by stating the previous marriage was a traditional marriage that was later dissolved etc, and that you are now married to a new spouse. This can be tricky, depending on how far apart the two submissions are.
If you also say it was dissolved, you must present proof of what you are saying otherwise they will not allow this application as it is strictly a one man, one wife country.
If the forms were submitted close together, for instance, if last month you listed Nkechi Tinubu as your wife, and this month you state you have been married to Hadiza Jonathan for one year, then the flags again show everything is inconsistent and the holes in your story will be picked apart.
They will then tear down this relationship to prove it is genuine and subsisting and to make sense of what has happened to the previous spouse…. I hope you understand.

Exercise extreme caution as you are at risk of UK’s 10 year ban. I wouldn’t go down this route if you ask me.

Good day all, please, for those applying for a visitor visa, do they need to create the UKVI account before the visa is issued, or does the visa have to be issued before they create the UKVI Account? Thanks

From a recent visa approval i am aware of, it appears it is after the visa approval that you set up the UKVI account

Hello Cashmadan, gisselle237 and other gurus

Please is it okay for a sponsor to have
6mllion naira as closing balance in his personal account and sponsor is wife with 4.5 millions naira,
The closing balance is not the most important thing.

The amount for sponsorship is also not the most important thing.

The most important things you should focus on are: ties to Nigeria, source of income, source of money saved, what will bring the applicant back to Nigeria, ability of the applicant to fund the trip with no recourse to public funds in the UK.

I hope this helps.

It'll only ask for name(s) of child(ren) if you listed them as dependents. If you answer negative to dependents, that aspect of the form to enter their details will not prop up.

Good morning folks. I am filling out visa application online for a minor. She is 4 years old. She wants to travel with her mom. Her dad is paying for the trip.

What should I pick as the answer to the question below?

Does anyone rely on you for financial support? Include those traveling with you and those who are not?

Yes or No.

I am sorry but I don’t understand any of this.
What does your friend’s birth certificate have to do with your own circumstance so I can know how to answer the first part of your query..
Also what actual pictures did you submit?
If they doubt the child is yours due to late registration and you feel you also added supporting documents to evidence that, you either raise a complaint that your evidence was not looked at OR you go have a think of taking your child to another country for visit. There are so many others OR do a DNA from an accredited UKVI centre ..
Big thanks to you Decision overturned .VISA ISSUED

Hi @Cashmadam, @Ashirioluwa, and @giselle237.

Wondering if you could shed some light on getting a flight reservation for Schengen visa via Switzerland Embassy

Got a UK visa last week and I've bought return ticket. Plan to visit Switzerland, and France for 3 days during my UK visit. Got most of my paperwork ready apart from the flight reservation. Are you able to advise?

Also, anyone know how often dates for tourism application on the vfs site is released for Switzerland. Don't want a clash with my UK travel.

Thanks in advance, everyone.

You can ask a travel agent to book a flight for a token sum of money. Most will not charge more than N50K max.

If you want to book a flight on hold, try those low budget airlines. You should be able to book on hold for 24 hours or more.

I don't know much about Swiss Visa as I always use France or Germany to get a visa for the Schengen area.

I hope this helps.

Upload the statement of account you downloaded. They always accept it. If it makes you feel better, upload the stamped and signed one too. It should not be an issue at all..

Why do you want to write it on a letter headed paper? Was the previous application a business visa application? Or are you planning a business visa? Just seeking clarification.

50k for flight reservation is on the high side. You can get flight reservation for less than 10k through Naija Going Abroad as per the information on their website.

https://naijagoingabroad.com/visa-services/flight-reservation-for-visa

I bought a flight reservation through their website for 5k a long time ago to support a visa application.

Warning: I am not an employee, representative, or owner of this company. Please be careful when you are dealing with them.
