You make a fine point especially at emboldened. Arsenal especially should have eyes on her after this... lol A top save to keep the game level before the break. Brighton's 2 goals came in the 2nd half.

Beautiful. Their first win this season too. I wonder why Deborah Abiodun was absent though. Was not even listed for the game. BascoVanVeli: |

Since Desire Oparanozie retirement the SuperFalcons are still struggling to get a true top9. Esther Okoronkwo have said on several interviews that she prefers the no.9 position… With the way she plays what Position really do fit her in the SuperFalcons ?? She has played in all the positions upfront. No.9 Right Wing Left Wing False 9

Update: The Super Falcons are set to face Cape Verde in a double-header in Nigeria on April 15 and 18. Awaiting official confirmation. The earlier proposed fixture against Togo appears to have been changed, but if there are any changes, further updates will follow.

BascoVanVeli:NFF is just the 99% of the problems the SuperFalcons are facing… Imagine the nonsense they’re doing.. At this stage we have to say Amaju was a better NFF President .. |

Schemerkhiz:Pinnick was just as bad. The decline started happening when he took over. I always say the worst thing that happened to Nigerian football was FIFA going against Giwa. That was a man that wanted to see growth in our football. |

When some of us call out the NFF, We get attacked by some so called Nigerian fans. Just look at this rubbish. No friendly in a fifa window that has space for 3 games. Meanwhile our opponents at the Afcon Malawi and Zambia are playing matches with the likes of Brazzil and Australia. Don't be surprised if the Falcons miss out of the Women's World Cup. Maybe that cataclysmic event will force us to drive out Gausau and Sanusi for good. |

Predator87:Year after year, it’s the same story. The Super Falcons rarely get adequate preparation for tournaments, yet they’re expected to deliver. Victims of their own success, maybe? It’s disheartening. This WAFCON also doubles as World Cup qualification, but it isn't treated as such. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 11:33am On Apr 10 |
Predator87:Don't worry. They'll be fine particularly with respect to World cup qualification. They only need to get to the Semi finals go guarantee a place at the world cup and should they fall short, they only need to get to the quarter finals to vie for a place at the inter continental playoffs. I also wouldn't be surprised if they go all out and win the WAFCON. They are that talented. And when that happens and you try to point people to the fact that these successes happens in spite of the NFF they'll come to their defence. When you argue that many of the grade A friendlies the girls were getting were largely due to Waldrum as a coach leveraging on his connect and not the incompetent people at the glass house, you get pushbacks. We literally were playing the USA, Canada and Japan in friendlies like every market day. Now the who apprarently had no influence has gone and it's been crickets. The all mighty NFF who according to folks here did it without Waldrum can't even get bottom barrel teams in Africa to play a friendly with us. I have decided it's a conversation not worth having particularly when not done in good fate. The girls will be fine and in a few months we'll forget these incompetence and the cycle repeats itself until we get to the world stage where such shoddy preparation will be punished. |

lovewins:When I start talking they will say am Madugu’s enemy… They will bring out the WAFCON trophy won mainly by the girls effort as evidence… Forgetting that the team lost out to Morocco in the semifinals of that edition cause of 2 Red Cards and poor officiating.. Referee didn’t bother to check or even give the Moroccan player a Red Card when she stamped on Osinachi Ohale’s Leg… Na we we dey do ourselves jare…. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 2:19pm On Apr 10 |
Look at Zambia 🇿🇲 Coach Norah spoke up that she need Friendly games, When the Zambia FA brought in a Coach she doesn’t want as an Analyst she spoke up and decided to leave the job.. Now she’s demanding they pay her off her whole contract.. Randy was the major reason we were playing those top teams..
|
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 2:23pm On Apr 10 |
Since all this issues, Madugu have never come out to demand for better preparation for team or talk about the players pay or even his own Salary that haven’t been paid… A Foreign Coach will demand for the whole team better Welfare as Randy did during his tenure.. Thomas Dennerby the same.. Only Rasheedat Ajibade & Chiamaka Nnadozie have came out to speak up, for this two players NFF will definitely be scared to drop any because the whole Nigeria will ask questions.. Maybe Esther Okoronkwo and Alozie can also speak up. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 2:28pm On Apr 10 |
Nigeria SuperFalcons needs a Foreign Coach that can push the NFF back to back.. All this Local/Home based Coach can’t do that.. Among the foreign based Nigerian Female Coaches only Florence Omagbemi and Mercy Akide can Push them one reason they're afraid to go that part.. Why didn’t Florence Omagbemi last with the team?? She spoke up for the girls after the 2016 WAFCON when they weren’t paid.. They tried bringing her back to Coach the team she demanded that she will be coming from the US to do her job, NFF refused that she must stay in Nigeria here.. In all NFF is the team major problem, they can only work with those who they will toss around. |
