Even your Fergie recruited consistently with sense over several windows to build the solid teams. Once a player is showing consistent signs of mediocrity or doesn’t fit into a part of the team, he didn’t waste time in discarding them, whether they’re new or old. Heinze, Veron, this black midfielder that we sold to Inter I think, etc. He doesn’t allow them to contaminate the team. We need to move on Ugarte and Zirkzee. Quickly. The former is not good enough and the latter doesn’t care. We can’t be down to barebones every time we have one or two major injuries. It’s bad. Sesko f up big time yesterday, the game swallowed him up. So did Yoro. These youngsters clearly are not ready for the PL but they have the potential to be top players. If only we have capable first choice players in their positions to push them. Casemiro at this level shouldn’t be starting for us. But ironically, he is currently our best midfielder 😭 |

Jamiuokolaa:What are you even saying sef? The same Carrick that has won Arsenal and City back to back is suddenly not good again because he lost to Leeds? |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 11:11am On Apr 14 |
At least, one thing is clear. New manager bounce is over. Let’s see how they deal with Chelsea. Make the top 4 we thought was almost wrapped no go slip. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Jamiuokolaa: 11:14am On Apr 14 |
Leyqute:That's the point He won City and Arsenal and we praised him for doing a good job. He lost scandalously to Leeds and we have to point out his shortcomings...especially if they are becoming recurrent. So far, he has done a good job as an interim manager but there are definitely question marks about his suitability for the role on a permanent basis. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 11:24am On Apr 14 |
Jamiuokolaa:When he was hired, I wasn’t under the illusion that he was the right man for the job. My main concern is the squad and their desire to compete. Obviously, you think results depends majorly on the manager. In my opinion, it’s up to both the manager and players. Seems we’ll have to agree to disagree on that. |

Jamiuokolaa:The difference between SAF and these manager is wide oo, what SAF can get away with, most of these managers can't get away with it. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Jamiuokolaa: 11:51am On Apr 14 |
larride:I kuku agree Na to lower the bar for the new set of managers. However, it shouldnt be so low to the extent that excuses would be given when they fail to beat 15th placed teams at OT...especially with the lacklustre performance we saw in that 1st half |

Gary Neville has bought Mark Goldbridge’s YouTube channels. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c62jj766py3o

Leyqute:Are you not entertained? If this is true Goldbridge’s critics will have a field day. |

L L....I can see that some people dun finally develop the courage to revisit the discussion on the uselessness of most of these players. No amount of town crying and spamming the thread with emotional gibberish can and will ever change the fact of that truth staring right in our faces. There's still another matter to develop courage in admitting, but I'm sure as time goes on we'll know more. iF no be some Top4 contenders head wey no correct, United for dey float around somewhere now. If you saw our last few games and didn't get nostalgic about the Ole days then all I can say is OMO |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 6:47pm On Apr 14 |
The real wahala now is that we have Yoro and Heaven only as the fit and available CBs for the visit to Chelsea. If Mainoo remains injured, Ugarte might start again. The only good news is that Chelsea sef na useless team like Man Utd. It’s going to be a clash of uselessness. |

Leyqute:Seriously? Unbelievable! |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by nitrogen(m): 9:19pm On Apr 14 |
I actually don’t believe that the players can’t stop being lethargic. If someone like Simeone catch them, dem go sabi run within a few days. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 1:13am On Apr 15 |
nitrogen:If you were the coach, how would you put an end to lethargic displays? |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 5:25am On Apr 15 |
nitrogen:Just know that we can't be living on vibes. Something real has to be built even if it will take some time |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 5:28am On Apr 15 |
nitrogen:If we're being sincere, is this energy problem a new thing or it's always been there for some time? Have we not mentioned here before how the players choose to raise their game against certain opponents or to impress a new coach? Hopefully we see some real changes when a permanent coach comes in |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 5:30am On Apr 15 |
Some games we won recently was because the opponents gave us too much respect or there was a moment of individual magic. But because we won, everyone is happy. It's always a matter of time before we start lamenting again. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 5:33am On Apr 15 |
odizeey:Those guys trained with monsters. Giggs, Scholes, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Carrick, Ronaldo, VDS and the likes. They no born them well not to put in their best every time they play. Who are the leaders in our team today? |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 5:39am On Apr 15 |
nitrogen:LMAO when they know the coach gets sacked after some months of bad results? Be real na. Are you not the same person that said you'll rather change the coach than players? If the players knows this too, what's stopping them from doing what they like and choosing when to turn up? |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by odizeey(m): 9:56am On Apr 15 |
eph12:I'm telling you. Small opportunity they give you, you won complain because say no be your position? ![]() |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by nitrogen(m): 1:15pm On Apr 15 |
eph12:You think without fergie, they would have became monsters? Very few players have the dedication and mindset of Ronaldo. Nani (who was arguably one of the laziest among them would have been worse during these times). Again, everything boils down to the training regimen of the manager. |

So it's official Maguire will miss the Chelsea game. It's not looking good at all. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by CrystalTiger(m): 1:46pm On Apr 15 |
Ellexy:Why exactly were the hierarchy of this club quiet about this since? How can it take the English FA over 25 days to come out with a judgement? It's still going to be another idiot on Saturday night, Micheal Oliver.. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Ellexy: 4:10pm On Apr 15 |
CrystalTiger:Something seems to be going on with United and the FA of recent. It's Heaven and Yoro against Chelsea at the Bridge. Hopefully Mainoo is fit and back for the game. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by MRTA7: 4:12pm On Apr 15 |
afrodoc:How so? Has he not just been legitimised by Neville? |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc(m): 4:37pm On Apr 15 |
MRTA7:That’s not how the fan channel space works. It’s very competitive and all of them are always fighting against the notion that they are pro-establishment or have sold their soul to the club ownership or some other mainstream entity. Being legitimised by Neville is actually not a good thing in that sphere. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 7:38pm On Apr 15 |
nitrogen:All I know is that even Ronaldo collected some knocks from the senior players when he newly joined Manchester United and he was doing a lot of showboating. Not from the manager o, in case you didn't read that correctly |

| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Ellexy: 10:21pm On Apr 15 |
We need to show serious ambition this summer in both the manager appointment and signing quality players. Cos Champions league no be for all these things wey dem Amad and Ugarte dey do. We need to invest heavily in our midfield else we stand no chance. ![]() |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by adebayo201: 10:33pm On Apr 15 |
Ellexy:It seems CL has transcend beyond what we know it to be before. Yesterday's Barcelona game against ATL was intensed, today's RM vs Bayern was even much more demanding. We need to be serious about the transfer and get players who are ready to go overboard not the ones you'll be nursing and encouraging to be serious every week. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Ellexy: 11:38pm On Apr 15 |
adebayo201:I tell you, the quality of those teams are insane. |
