They are elevated teachings which lead to peace of spirit and equanimity of mind.

However I don't accept "turn the other cheek" which I regard as dangerous.
Loooool regarding turning the other cheek. The sons of the world are pragmatic than sons of Light cheesy grin grin grin

No you haven't! And stop with your assuming and your lying!

You do not know everything I have done and have thought, so you can not make such a statement and expect to be taken seriously!
Such statement reeks pride and arrogance. Going into oversabi on top wetin cheesy grin grin grin

I see your love of the Parable of the Good Samaritan which is also a personal favourite.

I don't believe in turn the other cheek through. I think it is irresponsible and breeds evil.
Loooool

Turning the other seek is simply a Strategy for Peace. Human beings are at various mental levels, when dealing with people who find it hard to grapple with information you need to either avoid such people or be willing to let them win.

If a husband is not willing to forgive his wife regularly that marriage will collapse. When a child steals money from their mother they can get a reprimand or a beating but the mother forgets about it and plays with the child.

In conflict between two neighbors of different intelligence the more intelligent party has to over look a bit because if the more intelligent person keeps on pointing out the flaws of the less intelligent person who makes so many mistakes by not respecting boundaries. Imagine having to correct someone everyday...all the waste of energy , it is better to overlook alot and vent when issues are very big.
You don't turn the other cheek to be hit it's simply a metaphor for " give the person more chances " because you want to save up your energy for more important things.

To turn the other cheek could mean to walk away from stressful situations when the average person would be screaming and shouting you simply turn and walk away.
There was one hardliner on this cheek turning stuff on Nairaland years back. You don't know how extreme people take those words until your engage in a discussion in that direction.

Off course I have

by reading your words they are window into your thinking process.

Once I can see how you use words I can Guage the level of your mind.

By talking of Obatala and the others are a sign even your beliefs are not concrete.

If you had concrete Beliefs you will only focus on one or two pioneers but by mentioning 5 or 6 it shows you haven't even gone deeply into the path you claim.
Loooool cheesy grin grin grin

From the little digging I've done, I've realized budaatum is simply a Nigerian lady who craves covert attention but avoids the typical 'popular' label. It isn’t a confusion of character; she just prefers her fame on the subtle side. I wouldn’t call it a personality contradiction; she simply enjoys the spotlight as long as it isn't too bright. She’s different and clearly enjoys being low-key yet noticed.
Good for you, who is deepsight?

Do you think there is spirituality to life.
Found it. And having read my response, I believe it is adequate.

Every post I read (especially written by someone deep like yourself) is read in its spiritual sense, within my capability at least. I not only read the words but consider their deeper meaning and implication and utility.

Hermeneutics, is the word that springs to mind as a way of looking at things deep enough to consider their spirit. A spiritual way of considering that word alone would involve many years of research and contemplation and introspection to discover its (deeper) spiritual meaning and implication and then giving it a body so it becomes incorporated in one.

The spiritual acceptance of a creator has implications that defy and are inconsistent with reality, and result in assumptions and thinking like the one expressed in this thread for which the Buddha would prescribe the Four Noble Truths.

What is IR please?

And no, I generally dont go reading into the past of each person I discuss with.
"Infinite", something. I think my spirit is referring to those who have a fear of it.

People who discuss with buda without reading into the infinity of the past of buda will make assumptions that are untrue about buda and say things others know to be false about buda, and will ridicule their own argument by not knowing buda knows what they have said in the past and how they may have evolved since, and they will not know what buda refers to despite buda's habit of including references to make it easy for them sometimes to delve into the infinity of the past of buda.

As for buda, buda will only be discussing with the flesh of a person if buda "don't go reading" into the infinity of the past of each person buda discusses with long enough, and would be doing the equivalent of cover buda's own eyes with buda's own hands so buda does not regress to observe the infinite spirit of the person that they had spread all over Nairaland in the past for buda to see. So buda regresses past the immediate conversation and does their research into the infinity if buda discusses with a person long enough. For that is how buda will better understand what they say.

Ref: For this it would be IjeBos. He has diagnosed buda somewhere.

NB: I am posting this here to check if my belief this is you is not incorrect, and to on topic it.

buda and deep, I said I will not join this interview in any way. But I think this Spencer guy is trying to derail this interesting interview. You guys should ignore him and continue, please.

Interesting thread.
ono, have you noticed spencer has decided to ignore himself?

It's Sunday, so I will do holy and confess that it pains me when people make allegations like SpencerForbes did, because the one most important feature of Nairaland is that it does not forget to remind one often how false one's allegations are, and that would eventually touch one's soul (in atheism, I'd have said 'conscience'). And when it does, the inability to forgive oneself results in what spencer has now done.

Thankfully, most re-evolve reformed. So Spencerforbes, show your new self when you ready. buda would like to meet the new better improved you.
