Good evening.

Please i want to know if it is a must to upload the stamped version of your account statement or one can upload the online-genarated version of the bank statement which is not stamped.

I ask because banks nowadays will print your statement but some of the pages will be illegible. The downloadble versions are usually without blemish.

Kindly advise if i can use the downloaded version of the statement pls.

Thank you @giselle @cashmadam

Hello good people in the house Cashmadan and other gurus

Please I want response to this worry

After the submission of my wife and my daughter applications and I am the sponsor of there applications. I later looked through my wife statement of account I saw a transfer of #2000 from my business account to my wife salary account that was submitted, there no way I can write a letter to explain that it's for recharge card, cos they have blocked uploading after biometrics, I hope this transfer will not cause red flag

Good evening everyone,

Has anyone here applied for a Skilled Worker visa while having a pending appeal with the Home Office?
I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience and how long it took home office to make a decision on the new application.

Thank you!

2,000 Naira, 2,000 Pounds or 2,000 Dollars?

If it's Naira, it's insignificant and there's nothing to worry about.

Ideally, it should have a narration as salary.

However, if your salary is the same amount every month and paid on the same day every month, it should not be a problem.

The consistency in amount and timing will really add value.

It's true that unexplained deposits, especially near the time of applying, can raise questions about "lump sum deposit or funds parking," that is, borrowing money to artificially inflate the balance in the account used to support a visa application.

In your own situation, the one-time 2000 naira you transferred to your wife's account is significantly too small to raise an eyebrow.

You can use either one of them. But for those with bank statements with many pages, using the "mybankstatement" version will be more convenient because it is only one page of paper.

It is ok for a bank statement to show only the employer's name under description for salary deposits.

Visa officers rely on a combination of documents like bank statements and payslips to verify income rather than relying on bank statement descriptions alone.

For the verification process, the visa officer will match the deposit amount and date in your bank statement with the corresponding payslips.

I used the UK VFS Port Harcourt office at the presidential hotel, and yes, they have only premium service, 150 pounds, and the service includes upload my document assistance and passport courier

I also chose the upload my document service and did the uploading myself, from when I got to the center to when I did my biometrics and left the office was less than 15 mins, because I did the self-upload.

You have to join another queue if you want them to upload it for you; that's the only thing that takes time.

Also, when trying to upload your documents, the common errors you should look out for are
>File name too long
>Special characters in file name
>file size is too large (use sites like ilovepdf.com to adjust your documents)
> file contains virus (this is mostly for passworded documents, although I got the error in some documents that wasnt passworded )

The last error is what touts would charge you an exorbitant amount in other centers to help upload your document. The simple, quick fix is to either print the document and scan it again or go to the document and print as PDF. To do this, click on print, look for PDF on the print dialog box, click on it and save the document again . The new document should be able to upload without error.

I hope this helps someone considering using the PH center and to self-upload documents
Please does anyone knows if the port harcourt center is still operating? It’s jst saying no date available, I don’t want to waste my time looking

Hello Cashmadan and other gurus

This morning when I tried to verify my CAC certificate and my wife CAC certificate on the public search of CAC site, the response was no record found,it was stated that they were undergoing site updated and mentainance.meanwhile, my family just submitted there application last week and I am the sponsor.even early this month I still verify our CAC on public search site and it show our records

My question is,if the eco want to verify an applicant CAC do they have another way to verify it, apart from using public search website which was temporary down.

As you acknowledge that one of the reasons for the denial is valid, the next step is to wait until you can fully resolve that issue (by going to the bank to correct the address) before submitting a new application.

Reapplying without addressing the legitimate reason may lead to another denial.

Once you have fixed the address issue and are sure that all other aspects, especially funds and home ties, are satisfactory, you may proceed with submitting a new application.

**** Note that there is no required waiting period to reapply for a UK visa following a denial; you can reapply as soon as the next day. However, it is advisable to wait until you have thoroughly addressed the reasons for the refusal to increase the likelihood of a successful outcome in your next application.

Don't worry about it. I don't think it will be an issue. You have explained for 6 months. One month will not be a deal breaker.
I was refused because of the transaction of 7 months ago 😥, it’s really painful that the bank caused this. My disposable income is 1,450,000 - so the claim that my trip was 44 times my disposable income was bogus. I’m self employed and and pay myself 1,500,000 monthly, additional income of 77k because I’m a Corper, im 25 years old, I run an electronic store, and 2 landed properties(included everything) I also explained why my expenditure is 50,000 is low is because, the office covers most meals me and my staffs have and my parents still send me raw food stuffs they buy in bulk from home.
My closing balance was 15 million naira, and I’ve been to 13 countries and been abroad like 17 times

I’m planning of reapplying asap. The 3,000,000 lump some was from my customer 7 months ago

You're the one that cause this

Why you're using the same bank account to pay yourself salary

I don't think they have any other method of verification.

As it is, you need to be optimistic and hope for the best. They might not even check CAC at all.

Sorry about the refusal.

She should go to her bank and update her address so that it reflects on her statement.

Then, she needs to run her account for another 6 months. Were the figures you quoted in Pounds or Naira?

I always advise that you quote figures in Pounds as sometimes they get confused when there is a mix of figures in Naira and Pounds.

Convert all figures to Pounds via www.oanda.com

I think you should wait a while before she reapplies.

It has been stated here repeatedly - separate your business from your personal account.

And why did you send 7 months statement? You don't need more than 6 months at the maximum.

Also, forget the 13 Countries you claim to have visited. UK does not care if you have been to the moon and back. They need to be sure you will not stay in the UK illegally. Also, there is abroad and there is abroad. Many Countries don't qualify as abroad in the real sense of the word. I'm saying all this so that you don't continue having the mind set that your purported travel history will add value to your UK visa application. What will add value is a carefully filled form and a clear source of income - backed by your documents.

To me, all the figures in your narration are all over the place and don't add up. Next time, be more intentional with your application as it becomes more difficult once you have a refusal.

Do you look at your refused letter very well,it was stated that your Annual income and not montly reason the officer stated that 44 times your disposable income which means your montly income is 125k amd yearly(Annual) is 1.5M. Look at your letter very well and go back to the form you filled.

Y’all are getting me wrong,
My business and personal accounts are actually very much seperate,
Like I said in a post I made the day I submitted, I requested for 6 months statements and the bank gave me 7 months, I realized after biometrics and vented out here. The one time payment is 3,000,000 that was not explained from 7 months ago was from a customer who mistakenly paid directly to me (I didn’t explain this lump sum because I didnt know the bank gave me 7 months).
The second reason the ECO gave was miscalculation and an error on his end, my disposable income is 1,450,000

Your abroad is abroad statement is really really condescending, I’ve been to the U.S. for my mother funeral, France, China, turkey and few African countries,
I don’t know why you’re being passive aggressive
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 10:45am On Apr 21
Don’t reapply. They have denied your application twice.

At the moment, decisions are very strict due to the current situation in the UK. As a result, it is unlikely they will grant a visa at this time.

It is worst case to power 1 million if you are a youngman and of fighting age, 25 years you said. Nah.
They won’t give you.
The system is under a big pressure from Reform and Restore as people are claiming asylum left right and centre and the average British citizen is upset with the government.
The government is trying their best so that they understand that they are not supporting visit visas from 3rd world countries in great numbers.

Sorry to say
