@OP.

Nuff haters here but I dey gbadun this your thread gidi gan. In fact I am thinking of including Uganda in an African tour me and my friends are planning later in the year.

The love and praises Ugandans are showering on Nigeria lately is enticing.. It must mean 'goodies' await on ground in Uganda. 😎

Engr. Akovuku explained that the Uganda goverment, as part of its vision 2040, merged the Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB) and the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT) to form UVTAB whose mandate include technical education. He said the Uganda’s vision 2040 envisioned a transformed economy powered by a skilled and adaptable workforce.

“We have specifically chosen Nigeria for this engagement because your TVET architecture, pioneered and refined by the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB), serves as a sophisticated blueprint for our own reforms.

“We recognize NABTEB’s decades-long contribution to Nigeria’s economic resilience, a journey that precedes and inspires Uganda’s current transformation".

“Our aspirations are anchored in Uganda’s Vision 2040. We seek to move beyond theory, transitioning toward a digital, industry-led, and competency-based assessment model that empowers our workforce to solve real-world problems.”

Some of you are just too gaulible
Or
you don't understand the Term Technical Education !
In my Area here,in Ikorodu -there is a huge numbers of Technical Students that we have Not Witnessed Before Now:
1.It is either because the Govt-is GETTING It Right, for example, Govt-has promised THAT STUDENTS IN TECHNICAL EDUCATION WILL BE GIVEN SOME ALLOWANCES , LET US HOPE it IT IS SO !
OR IS THE ALLOWANCES FOR FEDERAL Government TECHNICAL STUDENTS ALONE' ?
• What About the State Technical Students - who pays for them ⁉️
2.Another reason is that Govt-Should Establish An Educational -Funding that will Assist Each Graduating Students to Stand on their Own and Establish themselves - without looking Outside For Employment like that of University graduates.
• Attention Education Minister -ALAUSA:
There is Urgent Need to get this Technical Education Right - because this is where China- and South- Korean and even USA are having Advantages.
• Where Are The Fundings For The Students - without any Compromise or Corruption ?

How can the FG pay the trainees 22k not even 50k? Is that enough for transport or feeding for a month? 😏
Before now the students are paying.
Now training and books are free and Government also provide free Accommodation and stipend every month. Where were you when all these weren't free?
For those "common men" who always complained that the Technical Colleges enrollment drive and student loan didn't reach "common man" please tell them to wait till 2052 during Seyi Tinubu's regime.
Nairaland and its common men.

So, investment in education is a hoax to you. The over 20k people that applied , are they ghosts. Then the monthly stipend is not enough. Some of you just want to sit and they start paying you for sitting at home. Bro, all man must work to chop ,no free money like Jonathan's era. We have to wake up to reality

millions amassing wealth . We are really seeing it on the street. It is because of the wealth being “amassed” that Glo, MTN and the rest stopped borrowing airtime. grin

Make propaganda wound all of Una for dia

One whereby said Millions of Nigerians are amassing wealth. lol. I really pity who dey follow Una. There is hunger in the land, inflation is at an all-time high. Unemployment is on the increase. Security is nothing to write home about . Exchange rate is absolute rubbish and one cow said millions of Nigerians are amassing wealth.

lol. Amassing wealth ko, AMAKA wealth ni grin

It’s a shame that most Nigerians don’t care about development, reforms or progress. They just want to have their belly filled with foods and drinks. They only pretend to care about development .
Once you start the development journey with them they start to wail and grumble.

No government will pay those studying vocational training for free #500,000 per month to please you. Were they paid one naira before? Is it not rare privilege for someone to be studying for free and be given stipend at the same time? Some Nigerians expect government to be feeding them like babies. Mtchee mtchee.

Just because you are in a hurry to defend your oppressors, you couldn't even read well. You now changed my 50k to your yeye 500k.

FYI, NDDC pays people they train under similar scheme 50k every month.

Grow up!
