I don't think it is, because he does not hide and he keeps trying.

What i noticed this season is that as the rest of his game (holdup play, linkup, pressing) has improved, his finishing has gotten worse.

For instance, in the FA Youth Cup Semi-Final against Palace that we won, and in this U-18 Premier League Final that we lost, he played well in both games in all other aspects apart from the crucial aspect of finishing.

The only good news from this game is that Ibragimov is finally back after being injured for several months, and he still looks sharp. He can't afford another long-term injury though.

I suspect this team will come 2nd in all their competitions (2nd to Man City in the Premier League North, they already came 2nd yesterday in the League Cup, and i suspect they will lose the FA Youth Cup Final to Man City). Ajayi got injured yesterday and JJ has been off form (likely fatigue) for the past 3-4 weeks.
You don’t get me. Sometimes in some games, Obi looks a bit uninterested. Thats why I suspected a mentality thing. As a young player though, he is expected to be inconsistent. Maybe with time he’ll be up for it on a regular basis.

That being said, it’d be a sad thing if we don’t at least win one trophy this season. I just want those kids to have something tangible to remember this season by. We’ve got loads of talent too. It’s just that Man City are a beast.

Oh yeah I get. That issue was worse earlier in the season when it really looked like he didn’t want to play Under-18s. I think the premature promotion to 1st team last season made him think he was above Under-18s level.
Over the past 3 months though his attitude has improved and we create many chances off his pressing of GKs and defenders.

Man City are a machine with conveyor belt of talent. Their squad is so deep which is why they rarely hit bad patches.
Their scouting and coaching is the best in the country.

We can beat them in the final but we need to be alert in both boxes.

"Amorim's legacy".
Lest we forget, amorim's legacy is playing his most creative player in front of the defence to prove a point about a certain player being not good enough, lying barefaced (unprovoked) about his player amongst others.

Was there any respect for "divergent opinions" when peeps here were castigated for calling out Amorim that year?

No be for these same pages them bin dey shout down and block people for highlighting Amorim's uselessness?

Now that the "fake" UTD fans have been vindicated, the "true fans" aka Protagonists of "suffer-now-enjoy-later" need to suffer for their sins...especially the unrepentant ones that are still doing stronghead grin.

I hereby sentence them to another 3 months of heads-mashing angry

Nobody say make you no write wetyn you like. But no come dey rope people in your talks.

A lot of people here were tired of Amorim, including me. But because some set of clowns are jobless and find fulfillment in Nairaland argument, they started forcing Amorim tag on everybody.

Make the argument continue. I no sure say e go end in 50 years time sef if we still dey alive.

Tbh, imagine what would have happened if Amorim's 0.000000001% probability of success actually materialised.

These Amorusexuals for don pursue us from here. grin

They deserve every heat they are getting..especially the unrepentant ones that feel triggered by facts.

So you were secretly praying the club does not succeed because you don't like a manager.

Too much talk go make you confess.

Guy,
Stop the lies. You are one of the most intolerant posters here. Stop trying to make yourself happy. You are one of those opposed to divergent views on Amorim and gleefully informed your fellow Amorim sexuals how you blocked all divergent views here while your fellow Amorimsexuals liked your comments and hailed you.
You are not any different to the others.

Even the ones that were calling another person a Ten hag fanboy are now complaining of the Amorusexual tag - the one they sha.melessly wore with pride by virtue of their illogical, unreasonable and prejudiced takes.

They would continue to collect.

We made this mistake with Garnacho. Gave him undue popularity and ETH consequently ran him into the ground. All because we built our squad so poorly.

Over the past 3 months though his attitude has improved and we create many chances off his pressing of GKs and defenders.
He did look lively in the FA Youth Cup semi. Hopefully he can bring his A game to the final. Together with JJ Gabriel, if they’re up for it, we can win that trophy. The problem/worry is just the defense.

Grave diggers. shocked
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Jamiuokolaa:

Guy direct your lamentation to your small mediocre god named Amorim. I deal with facts and figures and not emotional support.

Ruben Amorim has an atrocious record at Manchester United and no amount of spin can cover it up. Normally I don't respond to people like you but I will do it this once for record purposes.

Ruben Amorim joined Manchester United in November 11th 2024.

Since that time he has played 28 league games including the home loss yesterday evening to Arsenal.

Here is the abysmal record.

Games played- 28 league games.
Won- 7 games.
Loss- 15 games.
Draw- 6 games.
Total league pts- 27 points.

If any rational person feels that a return of 27 points from 28 games is satisfactory then I have nothing to say to such an individual.

However in my little understanding of football such mediocre and abysmal record only compares to the worst managers in the history of the Premier league like Franck de Boer at Crystal Palace who played 5 games and lost all 5 games with 0(zero) points and Terry Connor at Wolves who played 13 games. Won none, had 4 draws and 9 loses.

Amorim has simply continued from where he stopped last season and there is a big possibility he will lose away at Fulham this weekend.
The figures are sacred. The figures do not lie. Without Ten Hag and Van Nistelroys points last season Manchester United WOULD HAVE BEEN RELEGATED!!!

If pointing to the cold facts of Amorim’s case then makes me a hater in your words then it is your opinion and you are entitled to it. However it doesn't change the facts that Amorim is on par with Connor and de Boer for the worst record by any manager in the Premier league.
This post was nothing but 300% pure, undiluted factos devoid of sentiments yet there were numerous attempts to suppress these sorts of well-articulated submissions.

At some point, it appeared like common sense and logic was a taboo here - anyone that tried to argue intelligently with factual evidence was deemed to be a hater.

A Wolves manager had a better record than Amorim and the next thing was for some shameless peeps to start keeping tabs on Wolves and updating us here whenever they lost.
