I applied for student visa paying the expedited fee of 500+

I did my biometrics on Dec 9 and got a request for employer documents which I provided via email on Dec 12.

Today, I got an email for an interview for Dec 30.

Question - Can I call to see if my interview can be rescheduled to a date earlier than 30th since I paid for premium? Flights in January are crazily expensive and would like to get this sorted and travel last week in December.

Thanks for any guidance on how to proceed.

Guys any one recently traveled to the uk on a study visa if yes , what are the questions asked at the point of entry and did they ask to see proof of funds ?

I started working for myself since the begging of this year and I don’t have all those. I have worked in a company for over 5 years before I stopped in December and they have given me a reference letter but the agent is still saying it can’t be used, that it must be my current employer.

I would say you should stick to your recent employer you worked for 5 years, prepare your recommendation letter, payslips, employment letter etc. since you don’t have the above mentioned

That was what I said too. But she insisted that they are going to ask for details about where I have been working since January. Do you think I should take the personal hustle off my CV? Although it is related to what I want to study and what I’ve been doing for the past 5 year.

The agent hasn’t even tried to upload the reference letter provided by my recent place of work at least to secure an admission. It is just tiring.

I have just received a UK visitor visa for 6 months. It is an eVisa, so there is no visa stamp in my passport.

Can I book a return flight with KLM? Do KLM require a transit visa in this scenario?

Yeah either the person was refused the visa or the person cancelled the visa. And they did reapplication and UKVI granted the Visa

My agent made a mistake during my application and chose 'no' to travel history when for a matter of fact I did travel to another country around October 2017 on a visitor visit. I saw the mistake when he sent my application pdf. I can no longer modify or edit the application

As it stands I'm yet to pay for ihs and visa due to the mistake. Will it affect the outcome of the application if I go ahead to pay for the ihs and visa fee and book my appointment for biometrics?

What do you advise I do?

Does UKVI now request 60 to 90 days bank statement for VISA processes?
