That kid can play both LB and CB, right?
I think so. Or more likely LB, RW and wingback for both sides. Afrodoc would know fo sure

Lacey makes it 3. 3-1 now

We've gifted them another goal. 2 fatal mistakes whilst building up from the back in your own box.

He was a CB with the lower age groups but sometimes played LB. When he moved to Under-18s he started playing mainly LB because of Mills and Armer partnership. I don't think he can play WB or wing.

Musa has been feeding his Naija brother Obi today.

And Obi has wasted most of those chances.

Re Kukonki, yeah. I think I was talking about Mantato.

Tyler Fletcher seems to be picking up. Jack is more talented tho.

These defenders are not serious.

Obi's finishing dropped as his work rate and link up play improved.

Jack is the one with the better natural ability, but Tyler has a more straightforward pathway to the senior team.

FT 3:2

Decent game by the lads. But the defenders nearly cost us the game. Two fatal mistakes gifted Sunderland two goals. Otherwise they wouldn’t have scored at all.

This game was broadcasted by the club’s account live on YouTube. I don’t know why MUtv is suddenly broadcasting U21 games. For free. They’ve made it difficult to watch those lads for reasons best known to them in the past.

Most of the referee's are incompetent, although Calvert-Lewin on his part,is a master of the dark arts.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by FortCavazosKnox: 5:33pm On Apr 26
Calvert Lewin didn’t get a red card for pulling Cucurella’s hair simply because he doesn’t play for Manchester United. The agenda against Manchester United tho 🤦🏾‍♂️

The EPL and referees is a shame at this point

Because of his better work rate?

Yes. He plays with more intensity and pace. He can be a 6 or an 8.

Jack has less work rate and pace and he is a natural no 10 although his game is being altered to bee one a CM.

O boy. If not for injuries, Dan Gore would be playing for the first xi by now or at least be a good bench option . He could be a good partner for Mainoo in the next couple of years assuming his development wasn’t derailed.

Proper gidigbo boy

The injuries derailed him. The ship has sailed on his United career, but he still has a chance to develop into an EPL player in the next couple of years.

Devaney is the one doing well in the SPL now at just 18. That is one of the youngest players to go out on loan at CM at such a high level for us in a long while. While he was here it looked like the club prioritized the Fletcher twins, but he might have a better chance than them.

We’ve also got Sékou Kone on loan in Switzerland. I’m hopeful for him as well.

The amount of midfield talents we’ve had over the last half decade is astonishing. Transitioning the first XI is not easy at all.

We always have good midfield talent who have a chance of making the first team. It is at the wing position that we struggle to produce good players. Very strange for the club of Best and Giggs.

Like you said transitioning from academy to senior team is incredibly difficult. It requires so many things to go right for you and if only one of those things goes wrong, that is goodbye to making that step up.

I hear Radek Vitek is doing well in the Championship. Weird that we let him go and allowed Onana to man the post.

Lacey played 90 mins for the U21s yesterday but he’s on the bench this evening.

Seen our lineup against Brentford, Cunha is out. Contain Schade and Igor Thiago then we will this easily

You say that like containing those 2 will be easy. Brentford are a very tough outfit to face.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by FortCavazosKnox: 7:30pm On Apr 27
I know it won’t be easy and I wouldn’t mind man marking them, once both of them are uncomfortable on the ball. Brentford’s attacking flow is done
