The friend, relative and sometimes even child of the person that just passed on who were enemies of the person when they were alive do attend the burial ceremony of the deceased person.

I feel your pain and am in a similar boat of sorts.

Some think they are more of a child than others and can take executive decisions on behalf of everyone else during the burial. Like you aptly surmised, my own beef is going to enter 3rd generation too.

My mum went through so much for us as well and I am just glad she didn't see the BS.

When the man was alive you caused him grief, you didn't apologize and ask for forgiveness for your actions, so why are you coming to "honor" the man after he has passed on?? Some people nor get shame for bodi.

I humbly disagree. If you caused grief to an individual when they were alive and you don't make amends before they pass on, don't attend their funeral please. That's very disrespectful to the individual's family.

There is something called last respect.
You dont bear grudges with someone even at death . Have you ever heard where they speak bad about the dead? Do you want to tell me a dead person has not wronged anyone.
