Hello Everyone,

I recently got admission at Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland for January 2027. However I have a previous study refusal from September 2025. During the application, they did not ask about my immigration history, I'm sure it will come up before cas issuance and I don't intend hiding it due to deposit issues. Do you suggest I attach a cover letter explaining how my circumstances have changed while submitting the refusal letter to the school?

I highly doubt that a university will ask of your immigration history before giving you CAS.

The details of your past visas are only needed when you apply for a visa

Its not unfair, they want to issue CAS to a prospective student who is likely to get a visa and not to someone who is likely on visa ban or have serious immigration record.

It cost universities a lot when student don't turn up as a result of visa refusal

I did biometrics March 17th, I got invited for ukvi interview on March 20th. I did the interview April 2nd and got the approval that same day. That should be 13 working days.

wow. I did biometrics March 18, and up till now I still haven’t recieved a decision. No interview request or request for additional docs. Also for the May intake

I did o. It’s 30 working days already. I already had a paid call, and they said it is still under processing. I have also asked my school to make an enquiry for me. I’m hoping they get back to me tomorrow.

I just got a conditional offer letter from University of Salford for January 2027 intake. Is there anyone else in this situation?

I’m not sure how long I have to pay the tuition deposit but I’m working on that already. Any idea?

Regarding my work history and salary, I have been working remotely for over 3 years but my salary(earning) has always been via crypto network(p2p:third party) precisely and my bank account transactions are not well coordinated. How do I prove my source of income? Is it advisable if I build one of my local bank accounts for 6 months to streamline funds against visa process?

I will be sponsoring myself, is there anything to be worried about or prepared for?

Also, can anyone be so kind enough to share the necessary documentation I need to get in place from now till December when I intend to apply for visa, please?
