Nigerians based abroad are buying cheap because of the devalued naira. Foreigners too may buy companies and their assets for cheap. You also have the politicians or those close to government laundering money made from corruption on a scale never seen before. Of course you also have the traders that no matter what will always turn a profit.

That's good.
Publish the prospectuses and let's see.
Will always consider making a quick buck off folks who refuse to work their democracy to improve their fortunes.

People sell land to carry out positive or negative business like setting up a business, travelling abroad, paying for medical bills, paying for schools, etc but not to buy rice and beans. Farming on that land can provide the rice and beans.

Better to remain silent than to speak and clear all doubts regarding your iq level. Okay I forgot that bat gives rice occasionally. So they can depend on bat's rice economy while waiting for their rice and beans to grow (if cows no chop am shaa)

Land matters is the jurisdiction of the state government in accordance with the provisions of The Land Use Act, wetin concern President Tinubu with your state issues?

But just like your new employee you monitor, guide, direct and appraise. You give tasks and expect reports, simple.

You start by electing a person you control, that respects you not the other way round.

While you might be right but you are neglecting a few things especially regarding farming- these is not crop you cultivate that won’t take at least 3 months to mature, so let’s assume this person is a family man with kids in secondary and tertiary school- he needs to pay schools, maybe house rent too, feed his family, also meet up to expectations from his extended and his wives family? not a jeep it’s the saloon version the suv is rx…I feel like we are missing each other by just a fraction yes something positive can be done on the land but what if the person is in desperate need of money like an emergency situation-at that point cultivating on the land will not even be an option

Only Idiots are doing that. it is like selling a cow that is producing milk so you can buy milk. The houses and lands can be rented or leased. Collect RENT and use it to improve the place...you will suffer few years, but once done, the house will provide feeding annually
