The lovers were warn against getting married after their Genotype (AS AS) will produced children with sickle cell, they ignored the Doctor's advice and still went ahead and marry.

They will soon learn the limitations of "love". I have seen first hand the extreme suffering and pain SS people go through.
There is one in Jos as we speak whose legs are decaying while she's still alive. Her parents have spent and spent and there's nothing left to spend anymore. Everyone has tried...Anytime I remember it I just pray that God shows her mercy.

The innocent children they will born SS should never forgive them for the life pains ahead.

Just after five years the reality will be too much for them to comprehend and will be too late.

Them say school na scam and na school will take get the foundation to achieve life with God grace and mercy.

It means EACH CHILD they conceive has a

25% chance of being SS.

25% chance of being AA.

50% chance of being AS.

If they give birth to 4 kids and they are really unlucky, all 4 can be SS.

If they give birth to 4 kids and they are really really lucky, all 4 can be AA.

In most cases though, their children will be AS because of the higher probability.

But why take that chance at all of bringing an SS and the pain you will cause an innocent human. Just marry right.

There is a way now. They (doctors) now can detect the genotype of a newly fertilized baby from 3 weeks old and if it is ss, they can abort the baby at just 2 weeks old and if it is AA or AS, they will keep it
