PDPGuy:
Nigeria maintain their proud tradition of qualifying for every U-20 World Cup!

But Coach Anduku has his work cut out for him, as this team needs massive improvement, especially in the midfield to attack transition phase.
Three things to note from this match
1. No more minnows in African women football
2. Our Women league needs a resurgence
3. We need to return to our grassroots

Naija qualifies. Malawi U20. Nice fight... but this U20 WWC ticket is something you gotta truly EARNNNN.

The Falconets are yet to miss an edition of the Women's U20 World Cup since the first Edition in Canada 2002 (when it was U19).

2002 - 2026 ✅️🤝🏿 Always present on the Global stage.

Work to do✅️✅️✅️ A lot of it. Even the defence needs a tweak.

Imagine Emem Essien leaving Edo Queens to play in the Indian Women's League. That alone should be a serious wakeup call that there is a major problem with the Nwfl.

Ashleigh moving to Saudi was a worse move. The NWFL has had a number of players join good league's in Europe.

You can't use one transfer to judge the entire league...many players have left the NWFL and join a decent side in Europe and you didn't come here to praise the league.....the league none of us has ever invested our money ....it takes a lot of money to run a decent league

If she goes to Saudi i will understand it’s because of the Money…

But India is a NO
How much do they pay??

Highest you get $1500 monthly and that’s if her agent is strong with the deal..

If she goes to Saudi D2 she’s guaranteed at least $3500. Imagine playing in D1 there..

Am after her development as well and India isn’t part of it.

This girl have the talent, to play in Europe at least the Scandinavian countries, Turkish league which are very good with players development and would earn better amount than that India 🇮🇳

If she was earning close to 1M here in Nigeria I don’t think she will accept an offer from India..

I once got a contract for a Ghanaian girl to move to Poland 🇵🇱 D1 with a good pay of $2500 monthly, Wining bonuses, accommodation, feeding, insurance and to extend for another one year or two if she performs well.. but she turned it down for Same India that offers $800 -- $1500 monthly.

I don’t even accept this India of a league for players.

Some of this players are lazy especially those Ghanaian girls you hardly see them play in the big leagues..

If you want proof I can still post it here for you all to see

That's a good point that you did not make in your original statement. You are saying there is something wrong with the league when majority of our players go to good clubs when they leave. Yes the deal was a head scratcher but that has nothing to do with the NWFL.

Chiamaka Nnadozie and Brighton women secured a 3-2 win vs Liverpool in the Women's FA cup Semifinals today to make it into the Final.

Nnadozie is in a Major Cup Final in her first season in England. Massive!

Our key players are getting injured weeks before WAFCON and the lack of preparation is making things worse because we cannot identify potential replacements in case of withdrawals. I will not be surprised if we fail to qualify for the womens World Cup. Justin Madugu is a clown for making excuses for the NFF instead of calling them out for their lack of preparations.

He dare not call them out… He’s only there because they can use him as they pleases so why should he call them out?

Alozie doesn’t stay out injured for long though, but again Shukurat OLADIPO can step in as Right back if it comes to worse and with Nicole Payne return she can serve as Back up.

We have capable players but how to gel them together is the main thing.

Chinwendu Ihezuo
Esther Okoronkwo
Michelle Alozie

Are out for now with Ihezuo looking to miss out for sure except a Miracle.., Thank Goodness Uchenna Kanu is back to form.

Any news on Ashley Plumptre? When will she be back to full fitness?

Seems so. Also notice how West Africa makes up 3/4 of the Qualified teams. Only Tanzania from East Africa is different.

The CAF U20 Qualifiers format for the male category is truly satanic.

U17 and U20 men's qualification process is designed intentionally to limit the # of west African teams.
