Indeed, the application process has been very fast lately. I applied for myself and my children, completed biometrics on Monday, and received the visa approval email today, Wednesday. I’m truly grateful to GOD |

BruceXavier:Thanks I really appreciate your swift feedback. However, the savings is aside the monthly disposable income of 400k for 5 to 6 months and also the savings will be incrase to 4M in total it will be like 7M. Also, the first time he travelled was to qatar for a 5 days visit. Hope it'll make sense this will be present in the salary act. Please house I am planning to invite my wife before the end of this month, the only strong tires back home is that she's the primary carer of our kids, she's into content that generates so level of income but not registered. Please any advise from experience people in the house on how to plan along. Our kids will be with her mother whilst she visit for 2 to 3 weeks |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 1:20pm On May 11 |
NEROSKY:It depends on the visa officer. Try to make it max 2 weeks on the form. However, the application needs to provide clear evidence that leaving her children behind in Nigeria is sufficient to outweigh other factors and demonstrate that she will return. This is because she has strong ties to the UK as well —> you the husband, so the decision often comes down to weighing her ties in Nigeria versus the ties in the UK. May the best man or child win lol . |

Good day every one, I currently have a 6 weeks Schengen visa ( Expires June 22). I want to apply for a UK visit visa so I can visit some of my friends in the UK as well. I have more friends in the UK than the Schengen area. So I would like to ask if I apply to the UK now, will I be able to get a biometrics date and response between now and June 22. I’ll appreciate your response! |

Hi. Yes to both questions. You can get a biometric date within a week of filling your form. Decision within 15 business days. All the best! Damodamo: |

Hey guys I need help. I am trying to book a flight from London to Lagos and the cheapest I can find is Royal air Maroc with a layover in Morocco. Would I need a valid Morocco visa to book this flight and transit through Morocco? I don’t have one. Someone should kindly answer me before I book an unusable ticket please. |

giselle237:Good morning Can someone please advise what i can do in my situation. I'm planning to go to the UK for my OSCE exam via self sponsorship for 5 days . I currently earn 350k take home and spend 80-100k monthly which brings my savings to 250k monthly. At the time of application, i will have a balance of 3.9million and I plan to spend approximately 2 million for my travel expenses ( Airbnb, flight, feeding etc ). Is this a good plan or what can i do to have a better chance of getting the visa? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Newbie2024(m): 4:24am On May 12 |
Ruthiegal:A lot of travelers, including some Nigerians have shared negative experiences about Royal Air Maroc online, especially around transit in Casablanca, delayed or missing luggage, customer service, and how passengers were treated |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Newbie2024(m): 6:56am On May 12 |
Younglami:Please don’t apply, because they are unlikely to grant you a visa. Spending above 50% of your total savings on a 5 days trip may be considered unreasonable by UKVI. Even your proposed ₦2m will most likely not cover your total expenses, considering that the cheapest flight ticket alone is around ₦1.5m. |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Younglami: 8:57am On May 12 |
Newbie2024:So what should i do? Cheapest flight is 1.1 million from air maroc. Abuja to London. What should i do then? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Newbie2024(m): 10:24am On May 12 |
Younglami:From my calculation, the amount you intend to spend on your 5-day trip is roughly equivalent to 6months of your savings. For UKVI applications, spending above 2–3 months’ worth of your salary on a short trip can raise concerns. I would advise you to strengthen your finance or consider getting a sponsor to support your application. |

Hello good people in the house I need an advise on how to go about this. I'm a registered nurse planning to write my OSCE exam. Net Salary: 510k Monthly expenditure: 100k Savings: 400k Balance when i will submit the application: 7.1m Travel expenditure: 2m Visit duration: 6 days I have seen where they advised the travel expenditure shouldn't be more than 3 months salary. In my case it's like 4 months salary and 5 months disposable income. Am i good to go or any advise on how i can strengthen my case. Thanks |

Good day everyone Please I need advise so I have previously been denied a visa in December, I’m trying to reapply. My sister is sponsoring me, she has 5000 pounds closing balance in her 3 months statement and I have 3m in my account. I plan to stay for two weeks, I earn 450k and spend 200k so my disposable income is 250k. I’m getting a letter of introduction from my office and I’m also running a masters programme. I’m currently engaged |

orluuchi:You Might need to convince the entry clearance officer that u re coming back to Nigeria after your proposed holiday. How much do you have available to you How Much do you proposed to spend on this trip What are the reasons for your last refusal which you must treat all cases for the refusal DM me |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Taal17: 11:18am On May 14 |
Younglami:In my opinion you don't need a sponsor. You are going for the purpose of an exam as a working adult so why would someone sponsor you. The 2 million you put covers the cost of an Air bnb right? If there is someone you can stay with such that it covers accommodation then in that way they cover accommodation costs. You can indicate that in the other information box in the form and in any other relevant area. So long as the person provides evidence of that . This would reduce your spend a bit. You would need details of the exam, date and that you have paid as well to include on the application |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Taal17: 11:24am On May 14 |
KaosarahAde:I think your case is more dependent on the fact that you have a job. So provide evidence of the exam and the job you work to strengthen your case. Just scrutinize your account so that what your statement says tallies with the breakdown of your savings , income and expenses you have listed here. |
