| Re: The NBA Begins by greypencils: 4:21am On May 10 |
SmooshCHN:More nonsense coming GSW's way. Look at the team. Porzingis, Butler, Horford. GSW is the new retirement home. |

birdman:Lol, everybody go collect ontop OKC hand no worry. That team na cheat code SGA has not had a single good game in this series yet dem don blow us out for all the games |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 6:51am On May 10 |
greypencils:There's no shame in getting swept by the best team in basketball with your Batman out injured and your Robin playing like crap |
| Re: The NBA Begins by greypencils: 4:21pm On May 10 |
steady986:That's the point. No shame! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 7:47pm On May 10 |

| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 7:49pm On May 10 |
steady986:There is shame o, for goat like player to be swept. If they get swept, it will be a big shame. They need to at least win one. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Hohenheim(m): 7:08am On May 11 |
Silver did the Kings and Pacers dirty |
| Re: The NBA Begins by greypencils: 8:28am On May 11 |
Wemby gets ejected at Q2 and SAS loses by only 5points away from home. That is a team right there. More than ever, I need SAS to win this series. I need OKC shook. |

Roland17:I remember several seasons ago banging the drum about the evils of 3pt spamming and how it makes you a lazy hooper. Guys like you listed there Tatum and Brown are a good example of that. The other aspects of your game suffer. This was what the 🐐 MJ specifically said when they asked him why he didn't take a lot of 3s. For guys like Harden it's already too late but the likes of Tatum and Brown can still be salvaged We are seeing it in real time with Donovan Mitchell. He has become such a 3pt spamming merchant now he doesn't even get to the free throw line anymore. Besides the last two games Roland17:Naah but look at OKC for example and look at your role player guys. Scheirmann, Pritchard, Walsh all these guys besides Pritchard are basically useless outside of 3pt spamming. OKC have guys like Mitchell, Wallace, Caruso who can either score and or facilitate. Your role players are mostly specialists that are useless at everything else The White example is another one. His skillset IMO has always been limited but being a high volume low efficiency 3pt spammer is basically suicide Roland17:Not getting along off court is one thing but I don't know that they get along on court. When you come out and say the season where your most prominent teammate is out for the majority and you blew a 3-1 lead is your best season thus far, even above the season you won a title and were recognized as both ECF and Finals MVP. We have to wonder, what means the world to you is it winning or being recognized as the guy over Tatum. |

benji93:An underrated element in that Warriors collapse that is often swept under the rug and also explains why Draymond returning to the last two games ultimately didn't matter was the injury to Bogut Overall that Warriors team pre KD were not as stacked as people think. That is myth and urban legend. They had no size compared to the Cavs and actually over achieved When you look at the perimeter and bigs, Love, Thompson, LeBronze, Jr Smith, Shumpert, Richard Jefferson compare that to the Warriors and you see what I'm saying. Draymond to his credit was actually very good in the 2016 series but that says a lot to how poorly Steph and especially Klay played Draymond IMO should have been kicked out after the Poole incident. He was mostly useless in the 4th title run and actually ran off the best young player that might have extended Steph's title window. Now you're stuck with 3 old guys that are going to trick themselves again into believing they can compete next year once Jimmy returns |

greypencils:Good statistics to reveal but one game is just one game in the playoffs..the next game could involve Wemby and San Antonio could still lose the game regardless by a 5 or 15 point deficit. That being said I think most of us believe Spurs are the best team than can ruffle OKC..and I personally believe if Wemby is healthy they can win it all but the OKC bench is the X factor; they literally bring points, treys and the sink to the table! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 6:11am On May 12 |
Ajay Mitchell. Omo where OKC dey see these boys. This is literally his second season in the league and he looks so polished. This is elite scouting by Presti |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 6:14am On May 12 |
Wtf is up with Chet?? Is it this style he wan use against Wemby? Assuming the Spurs advance? Cos what Wemby would do to him will be a war crime |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 6:27am On May 12 |
A40:While I will give Presti his due, I will praise Mark Daigneault even more. He gets the best out of average players. I mean look at what he has done with players like Dort! Opponents used to leave Dort open from beyond the arc but today he has become lethal. He has also made him a better defender and he sticks simple plays. McCain comes in and does the same thing, C. Wallace.. Put another coach on that bench and they look like players with the Wizards. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by greypencils: 7:44am On May 12 |
nomorespams:True! But OKC's feathers were shook during the regular season. 8-0 in the playoffs is diabolical. I need them shook. If Timbs is gonna do the job, let them go ahead. If not, let them give way for a better prospect. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by greypencils: 7:44am On May 12 |
LEBRON JAMES IS THE FIRST PLAYER IN NBA HISTORY TO BE SWEPT IN BOTH CONFERENCES AND SWEPT IN 3 DIFFERENT DECADES THANK YOU GOAT 🐐😆 |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 10:04pm On May 12 |
RIP Brandon Clarke. Only 29 Terrible news. I remember him battling injuries the past 3 seasons for the Grizzlies. Was an energy guy off their bench. Most likely a O.D |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 10:14pm On May 12 |
greypencils:Make I like your post. What an achievement. First player to be great in 3 different decades ![]() |

Roland17:I will give Presti the credit cos he brings the groceries, it's an endless conveyor belt. And he's the one that has been doing the wheeling and dealing. Getting Shai, picking up Hartenstein from the Knicks, McCain from the Sixers Ajay Mitchell is on an $8m contract for the next 3 years. Nuggets paid Christian Braun $125m for 5 years. Swap Nuggets roster with OKC roster and let's see what Daigneault does. So I do think while Daigneault is a really good coach Presti is the real cheat code, compare him to the Pacers GM that skipped on a loaded draft class to trade for Ivica Zubac |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 1:46am On May 13 |
Wemby is something else. This is shaping up to be a great series. The refs are allowing them play. A physical series and that is the only way they can stop Wemby. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by greypencils: 2:35am On May 13 |
Roland17:At this rate, he might get injured. I need him uninjured against OKC. I am not a basketball ashewo for nothing. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 3:32am On May 13 |
What a pass from Wemby... |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:36am On May 13 |
The Wolves have no answer for that Wemby pick and roll. Players like K. Johnson have come alive as well. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:38am On May 13 |
A40:Very sad news. He battled with drug abuse. Looks like he ODed. |

I still dont understand why no one draws plays for Rudy Gobert. Ordinary lob sef, the guy no dey see. I dont understand why his height is not being utilized effectively. 4 FGA in this game? 4? It doesnt make sense. Every other short person is running around throwing bricks when there is a lobable giant in the paint. As how na? Abi the guy no sabi catch lob ni? I understand that Wemby is tall and would intercept that shit. But the likes of Giannis would still drive to the hole, dunks, layups, lobs, the whole package. OK Giannis is overstretching it. (There is a reason he is called a Freak) Jokic nko? Embiid nko? Wetin do Gobert nitori olorun? Is he that slow? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 6:08am On May 13 |
Roland17:He's been out injured for like 3 seasons barely playing. It's very easy to stumble on other demons. These athletes really go through a lot. Look at the NFL alone this past season we had two players that committed suicide as well. I won't be surprised if he stumbled into some darkness that not being able to play can lead to. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 7:36pm On May 13 |
Roland17:I kept trying to find cause of death in the presser, to no avail. Makes sense now |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 7:40pm On May 13 |
birdman:Yea, it is a difficult topic and I don't expect the team to divulge it or any thing that may suggest such. The focus will be to celebrate him. Like A40 said, these professional cats deal with a lot of demons. Most don't surround themselves with the right minds. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 7:43pm On May 13 |
greypencils:Once you get pigeonholed into one role in the NBA, thats it. I dont think we have crazy scheme coaches in the league anymore, that would run plays for players you arent expecting. There probably are some more recent ones, but I immediately think of Rick Adelman, Don Nelson I had to look up Don Neslon just because, ol boy ![]() |

Roland17:You saw the Stefon Diggs trial? At least guy man escaped with acquittal. Either the drugs or the women, both out to get you. And if you escape that, congrats, you get to deal with relatives |
