[does it mean that one is paying for Visa alone without legalization fees?]New update from the embassy. If you have pec pg or gcub scholarship, don't wait for legalization. They are approving visa for them. Just apply for visa only. Include your documents for legalization also and the payment receipts. Ensure that your police character certificate is up to date and not expired so that they can legalize it too. Which means you need to do another one and include it with your original documents since legalization is included. Second update. Ensure that you include your original documents if sending documents for legalization process. They sent people documents back because original wasn't included. So, do well to include it in your documents going to the embassy with updated police character certificate.[/quote] |

You mean originals of documents that passed through MoE and FMoFA? Or with those that didn't pass through there? Mide3367: |

Tadedetule SugarPG, it seems lots of universities are requesting for Embassy Authenticated documents for Admission Applications. I dont know if its possible to apply with just MOFA and MOE authentication. Screenshots from Two different schools

Universities requesting for legalized documents from the Brazilian consulate at home country during application or enrollment are not up to 5%, it's best you look towards other universities without such requirements. FXtrader2025: |

While applying for Legalization of documents at the Brazilian embassy, it's required you submit the original authenticated copy of your birth certificate, the embassy don't legalize photocopy of birth certificate, it will be returned without being legalized. Let's take note. |

For Brazil Family reunion visa 2026, do I need to legalise marriage certificate with Brazil embassy? |
| Re: Study In Brazil: Admissions And Visa Procedures by peppo4live: 9:02am On May 18 |
Jakess:Let me ask you this question. Were you asked to legalize your police character and birth certificate... if your answer is yes... it means marriage certificate must be legalized too before your visa application |
| Re: Study In Brazil: Admissions And Visa Procedures by jayteeboy: 6:39pm On May 18 |
Please those that recently legalized their documents at the Brazilian embassy, how long did it take? I have submitted mine since 8 weeks ago. The police report will expire by June 16th. |
| Re: Study In Brazil: Admissions And Visa Procedures by SugarPg(m): 2:35am On May 19 |
Some have applied for Legalization since January and February, there is general delay and the process is slow. Legalization of police character certificate is a waste of money, it's not necessary. Legalize your academic documents, birth certificate and marriage certificate only. jayteeboy: |
