Why I Left APGA, PDP – Peter Obi Reveals by Nelson21(op): 6:40pm On May 14
Former Anambra Governor and chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Peter Obi, has explained the reasons behind his exit from both the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Obi made the clarification during an interview on News Central TV.

According to him, his political decisions have always been guided by principles rather than personal interests.

Some men change parties because of their principles, some others change their principles for the sake of their party,” Obi said.

So for me, I changed party because of my principle because I’ve been in a system where you can see that it is no longer what you believe in, what you want to practice.

I left APGA because I was forced to leave. I left PDP because of my principles.

You cannot say you’re going into a destination but the process of going there has compromised your principles.”

You don't owe tinubu laptop boys any explanation sir
Million of sane Nigerians love you and that's all that's important.

Tinubu should explain to Nigerians how he intend to pay back all the loans in billions of dollars that he collected from world bank with nothing on ground to show for it.

It's because you lack conflict resolution

Small issue in a political party, Obi go tear race.

If elected as president, would he enter ground if the country problems are becoming complicated

Mr lamba.
I guess it was the same principle that made you turn to 2face bag carrier at the airport.

This clown is a epitome of failure. Blaming everyone but himself.
What principle does he hold besides looking for freebies everywhere, playing the victim card.
You keep jumping from parry to party and each time, it's other people's fault.
It's like a woman jumping from one husband to another and blaming it all on the men.
This man lacks basic leadership qualities.
Re: Why I Left APGA, PDP – Peter Obi Reveals by Eriokanmi: 7:35pm On May 14
Obi's decision was even better. Apga at a tine was a junior brother to the pdp. Atiku came and also hijacked the ticket already zoned to the south by the pdp. You cant compare obi with Mr cunning man who , after the afenifere allowed him to run under their party AD with days of begging and prostrating, later used AD and dumped it, now went and formed AC, so that the afenifere wouldn't be monitoring his reckless spending anymore. AD is still in existence as a valid political party till today.

That's betrayal of trust himself

You know this guy is a liar. You left APGA because you ere forced to leave. You left PDP because of your principles. We can all see that he never mentioned why he left. Some people just fall for his lies.
Re: Why I Left APGA, PDP – Peter Obi Reveals by Nozarashi: 7:36pm On May 14
Dude left 4 political parties for "principles".
Mostly with the same people who's principles didn't align with his. No due diligence before signing on to those other parties btw.
Re: Why I Left APGA, PDP – Peter Obi Reveals by Hemanwel(m):
Oga Pero, you owe nobody any explanation.
Everyone knows that APGA is a regional party; you couldn't have achieved anything in national politics if you had remained there.

Wike and Atiku's belief in money politics also would not have given you the needed platform for you to shine politically. So your leaving PDP was in order

Tinubu used Lamidi Apapa to crumble Labour Party when he saw your outstanding performance after 2023 elections. So, your leaving LP was understable.

In ADC, Atiku wanted to ride on your popularity to achieve his lifelong dream of becoming the president of this country. Something he couldn't achieve since 1993.

Here you are in NDC. The Eagle has safely landed in NDC and we (the Nigerian people) are 100% with you!

Nothing will stop the Peter Obi tsunami in 2027.

A New Nigeria is POssible!

Lol... No accountability whatsoever because he knows he has zombies who are not even intelligent enough to critically assess things he says.

When you were winning with APGA, you were not forced out. It's after you became governor(leader) in the state you were forced out. Lol. If a whole sitting governor of a party can be forced out of a party, is it as president you won't be forced out?

Principle chased you out of PDP or greed and fear of fair play? Once you can't have your way, you leave. Those are not attributes of a principled man, they are attributes of an opportunist.

Are nigerians who claim to love nigeria not leaving nigeria? Why is this one an issue? Peter Obi is bigger than any party now. The only politician to achieve such a feat. It is the man nigerians want and not any party

Stick to tinubu, the Mr saint. It's that simple. Obi is a multi billionaire and if he was so desperate, he'd have bribed his way through. His integrity is the reason most of us are following him till today, not because he gave us money.
Re: Why I Left APGA, PDP – Peter Obi Reveals by Paige001(f): 7:40pm On May 14
Peter Obi the political migrant today you’re here tomorrow you are there, causing confusion everywhere you go because of your selfish political ambitions, you know you can’t defeat Tinubu, instead of joining hands with other people to defeat him, you’re splitting opposition votes giving Tinubu upper hand

You don’t need any explanation, we know you are not a man enough to fight for what you believe in.

Presidency is for men with guts and not for a chicken-hearted person like you. You can continue to run from pillar to post but one thing is certain, you lack what it takes to rule over a country like Nigeria. By 2027, all your deceits will end!
