Fasting works most effectively following Jesus example, he fasted forty days with eating no food at all.

If you can go a day or two or even even three without eating anything but drinking water and praying, reading your Bible, it will do a lot of good for you spiritually.

But if you can't, find someone that can fast 3 or 3 days complete and pray for you.
