What is the merit and past performances you guys used to install Buhari?
By his Body Language huh
What is my business with Buhari? You think I guve a damn about Politics. All I am saying is promote Obi using his performances (if at all he has any) instead of causing tribal hate.

Firstly, I am not Yoruba neither am I even a southerner so I am telling you what your people are doing but you are still defending it.
You just proved why you people will always have problems with the rest of the country.
I am from the South South, not Ibo. I am not defending anybody because I don't see things from the tribal angle which a lot if you do. I am well travelled and have friends across the country. I appreciate the diverse ethnic and cultural multiplicity of this country.

Among all the contenders of the highest office in the land Obi stand out as the better alternative, not Tinubu or another person, at least for now. My assertions is not based on tribal sentiments neither am I bigoted, rather because I want a working country we all can be proud of.

Shed yourself of that bigoted garment and wear love, it pays.

You will never see me here specifically promoting any candidate, but if I may ask, Una Tinubu, what are his first tenure performances to warrant going back again? Hardship? Insecurity? borrowing even after allegedly saving a lot from the removed subsidy? What segment of his almost 4 years in office is a having a positive effect on the majority of the citizens?
See, if you sure don't give a damn about politics, then keep a shut about it, don't involve in sections of political discuss!

Is Tinubu a new politicians? My brother abeg you people can't even compare Tinubu footprint in Lagos to that Obì. My pick is Sowere.

LagosOrigin:
Lobatan

65% of Yoruba sons and daughters are solidly behind Peter Obi and they will vote for him in 2027

They did it in 2023 and will do even more in 2027 especially now that everyone has confirmed tinubu government to be a complete disaster and a monumental disgrace.

Nigerians are getting wiser now, the era of divide and rule is gone.
This is true!
Dont forget that Peter Obi won the Presidential Election in Lagos, in 2023.

But One Problem which l think all Obidients need to discuss, is how some "Igbo supporters" of Peter Obi keeps abusing Yorubas.
How do we expect support from the same people we are abusing on Social media?
Are we not suppose to be working together for the same purpose, knowing that most Yorubas dont really like this Tinubu Administration and many of them are being abused, for supporting Peter Obi, by their own People?

More Friends, Less Enemies, in my own opinion, is what the Obidient movement needs.
"Obidient" is not a Political Party, it is a meeting point of all Nigerians who will vote for Peter Obi, wherever or on whic ever party platform he contests.
That is why INEC, tried to disqualify him, in ADC Court scatter LP and now, their focus is on NDC.... anywhere Peter Obi go, they try to disqualify the Party.

Obidients create a scenario in their head and start jubilating. 😂😂

Even the poll on this thread, na dem dem still dey vote Yes and start jubilating afterwards. 😅😅
If the bolded above is true, why then are Yorubas who support Tinubu not voting No, or is something preventing such Yorubas for openly supporting Tinubu?
You see how your logic does not hold water?
It is a free online Poll and unlike INEC election, anyone can Vote as they like and the results are not manipulated, it is Instantly displayed as you Vote.
This is how INEC Elections should be, Real Time Results but Election Riggers in Power wont allow it

Even though I am from the northern part of Nigeria, I don't live in Nigeria. I have visited six countries including US and UK so it is understandable that you and I will never see things the same. You grew up with hatred for other regions and the closest person to your region is who you want as president

When you say "you people", I don't know who exactly you're referring to. If you must know, I am a Yoruba man.

What I've been saying in case you don't understand me is that, it was Yoruba that made Obi win Lagos, unless you think Igbos are more than Yoruba in Lagos.

That's exactly my point. It was us the Yoruba's that voted Obi. There are more de-tribalized Yorubas than you may imagine. We just want good governance, even if the person comes from Kutiwenji, Pankshin or Idanre.
Your case is even worse.
I am from the north and have never seen people who betray their own like your people.

Ever since my first year in the university, I have always observed this constant and singular trend with your people and for that reason, I always avoid them till this day.

What you call detribalised is actually self betrayal

It amazed me so much that a Yoruba person will vote an Obi ahead of Tinubu when it was clear that Tinubu was the better candidate. Obi was a colossal failure in Anambra and I understand why Igbos want him but the Yorubas supporting him was not comprehensible for other regions to understand.

Destroyed Obi career yet u cant stop talking about him🤣🤣
Since 2022, he is the most followed and most talked about politicians, yet he has been destroyed according to u
Check the votes on this topic
Even nairaland that is owned by a SW person, Obi still lead on all polls yet he has been destroyed by Tinubu
Una don start again abi. You are using Nairaland polls to show Obi is leading as you did in 2023 and Obi became the online president

When we told you lots in 2023 that election would not be held on social media you insulted us beyond limits

The honest question you should ask is " why would his own people not want him"? As an Northerner that you are, would you just vote a candidate simply because he's a Northerner? That's the point. You can't know a man more than his own kith and kin. We know him better, that's why we didn't vote for him. Yoruba's don't vote along tribal lines .

This is not about Peter Obi being better. I don't know anything about that.
But give me one reason why Tinubu should get a second term. Just one reason

There are tribalized bigots in every region. So also we have de-tribalized people in every region.

It's that simple. Even Obi, there are people that don't like him in his own village, town and state. That's just democracy.

This is utter Bee-Esss!
The problem with people like you from the North, is that you are, as described: ONE WAY! No individual reasoning and conclusion, all you need is one Ranka-dede Alhaji to say "Go!" and you all Go!
You know there is a reason some people compare Northerners like you (not all Northerners, though) with your "Cows" (No offense intended here, just trying to communicate as best as i can), that most of them rear?
It is because all you need, to graze a thousand Cows over a thousand kilometers, is to keep the lead Cow under strict control, and all the remaining 999 Cows will follow, not withstanding whether it is into a ravine.

Yorubas are the exact opposite: They analyze, they question everything, they reason and they are not afraid to make uncomfortable decisions.
How is that betrayal? That is a sign of a very intelligent Culture.

Now. Obi has been Governor of a State and Tinubu is President of a Country in almost 4yrs, as of today.
That means everyone, including Yorubas, now have the opportunity to appraise both Candidates, based on their Performance in office.
Though we cannot compare the Powers of a President, to a Governor (for example, a Governor does not have Power over Armed Security of his State) but we can still do a reasonable comparison, despite putting a President at a bigger advantage.

1) Obi left Billions of Dollars when he left Office. Tinubu is spending our Money like there is no tomorrow

2) Obi was not owing a Penny to any local or international Body, when he left Office. Tinubu is drowning Nigeria in Debt, with not much to show for it, apart from a few highly inflated, No Bid, Road Contracts to his Lebanese Front

3) Obi did not make life difficult for his Anambra Citizens. Tinubu has made life so much harder for majority of Nigerians, since he came to power!
From excessive Taxes, which are used to fund Yatches and Aircrafts for himself, to over 600% in price of Petrol which made inflation to rise to over 30% and price of everything going through the Roof, despite still taking Loans here and there.

Am trying to avoid using phrases that may lead to my Post being picked by the Spm-bot.

4) The People of Anambra were not being "kidnapped and unalived" by terrorists under Obi's tenure.
Under Tinubu's tenure, even Yorubaland has now become a hotbed of terrorism and` `kidnapping!
Only Lagos is a bit safe now, all other Yoruba States have fallen victim to Bandits, OYO state being the latest one. As l type this, there are Teachers and Students of a School in Oyo State, in the hands of terrorist Kidnappers since Friday and the President is just going on with his APC 2027 Project, he does not care.
As far as Security is concerned under Tinubu, No Nigerian State is safe, No Nigerian is safe.

5) In terms of 'Health', I think it is obvious which of the Two still has his "mental faculties" intact.
While l wish both of them long life, in good health, One of the two can no longer answer questions properly, talk less of thinking properly to rule the Nation. He reminds me of Joe Biden, during the last American Presidential Debate. We are in a Buhari 2.0 season right now. Obi is younger, agile and still mentally sharp.

Yorubas have seen all these things, just like every other Ethnic Region in Nigeria and they are faced with the question: Do we just continue to support Tinubu because he is Yoruba like us, prolonging our misery for another 4yrs, which even affects Yorubas more, or do we support and Vote for a better Nigeria, a better candidate, in Peter Obi?

Being very smart, sophisticated and pragmatic people, Yorubas are making the right decision and shunning Tribalism.
If that is what people like you call 'betrayal', then so be it.

History will prove such Yorubas right because when Nigeria becomes better, Yorubas will also benefit from it.

am not a novice and I can boldy tell you Tinubu is taking the nation on the right track. But to me personally I prefer a new breed but I to choose from the old politicians i will pick any of the old guys before thinking of Obì a pretender and a liar. A new Nigeria will be born soon not the one you people want to take us 1m back to with try an Igbo man, try Obi. This is not the time to experiment with a past failure better we progress with a man with new ideas
