A fit shaw has always been world class and consistent. It's just the injuries and time to get back into form thats the issue with him.

They let him down all season, if we had decent players Bruno should casually be 30+ assists.. that record should have been shattered long ago. So much trash in this team.. Dorgu, Amad, Zirkle, Dalot and a host of others need to be sacked at the end of the season.

I have no issues with him being a squad option if he can stay fit. But for someone who picks up injuries during light training it's best all parties move on.

It could work regardless of stylistic similarity because they are both intelligent world class players. What I’d like to see however, is a Bruno - Mbappe direct link. They will terrorise Teams that maintain a high block more than Afghanistan

I found myself hating on that coconut-head Mbeumo at a point during that match. I hope he improves next season

I guess it just depends on what the club sees Dorgu as. If he is LB squad option then we need to buy a LW to compete with Cunha.

Sesko, Cunha and Mbuemo all had double digits league goals with a game left. For a first season it's money well spent. Hopefully they improve and do better by the next one.

His contract expires next season so I assume the club would stick with him for one more season and give him a big send off. I don't see funds being enough in getting a new fullback with more pressing issues in midfield and left wing.

I agree. An elite LW will impact winning more. I guess it is left to Vivell and the scouts to do the needful.

My support is not going to improve his tactical ability which is clearly lacking. Giving Carrick the full-time job would be shortsighted and a mistake.

But for all the flack our attackers are getting and rightly so, our defence has had a poorer season cos we've conceded so much goals. At least the attackers are scoring but the defence keep sabotaging us.

That is why i said most of the work is in midfield and defence.

We don't have a senior CB without question mark. Too small, too slow, can't play high line, never fit. Quantity but no quality. The FBs have question marks, but we probably need to persevere with them for now.

Also, Casemiro and Bruno/Mainoo do not offer the best protection for the defence. We need mobility and intensity in those CM positions.

I don't see the club buying s defender this TW seeing how many of them we have. But if we get our midfield signings right and our attackers provide decent outputs again next season, we might just be fine.
