TrebleChamp:Carricks setup doesn't look like something that's gonna be sustainable playing every 3days man united doesn't have the defence to keep that tempo playing twice or 3rice weekly I won't be surprised if Carrick doesn't finish the season with United next season or he gets the arteta assurance treatment with questionable results But I hope I'll be wrong sha so that Una go happy Na man United be last among big teams now You can't brag to any big team currently except maybe Tottenham and that's only if you're in England 😭🤣🤣🤣 |

In 2002/03 season when Henry got 20 assists, Manchester United won the league: Scholes who was playing double pivot in the midfield had 14 goals and 3 assists in 31 league games. Giggs had 8 goals and 10 assists in 32 games in the league Van Nistlerooy had 25 goals and 4 assists in the league All these United players performed exceptionally well and topped it up by winning the league yet Henry was the one who won PFA player of the year. UncleHaba22:United have bragging rights against all the big teams this season under Carrick, I made that assertion based on the points United had under Carrick. Of course the board have a major role to play in that, United must sign very good players who will fit the system and be hungry to paly well every game. spillo1:ETH tried it with Martinez at Ajax. He was horrible. Maybe donut midfield was to blame but Martinez is not mobile enough to play in the midfield. |

MRTA7:It is even a strange comparison. That it worked for Lindelof does not mean that it will work for Martinez. That it worked for Lindelof against an indomie league club does not mean it will work week in week out in the EPL.
