"Revelation" isn't quite the way to describe it as it connotes discovery which doesn't apply here. Shukurat was already the best defender/player out of her u20 class and the u20 to super falcons pipeline has been as old as the super falcons itself so it was bound to happen, was just a matter of when.

Worthy of note also is that Randy Waldrum gave Shukurat her first Super Falcons call up during the Olympics qualifier game against South Africa. The invitation continued with Madugu after Randy left upon the completion of the Olympics. Also, not sure what you consider "good playing time" cause no one will consider her stint so far with the Super Falcons that.
Thank you sir. I believe she has featured more under Justine than under Randy.

So little said of Rofiat Imuran who I feel deserves more invites than she has gotten so far. I know she did not exactly finish the season in the starting lineup of London City Lionesses but she did garner enough gametime and impressed multiple times when she playes LB. She should seriously be in the mix for the Wafcon as Ashley's backup.
The problem at Club level right now is that the Spanish Coach do not fancy her at all. He prefers to play the English or Spanish Left Back unlike the former French Coach who liked her so much and always play her..

Maybe time to look elsewhere, since the New Coach doesn’t look her way! Arguably among the top3 fastest Left Back in the WSL..

The Flamingoes make it and we would play in Group B of the Morocco 2026 FIFA U17 WWC.

They should make it by beating Guinea and then Benin/Sierra Leone. And if they make it to the World Cup, crushing Puerto Rico and Poland is sure. I pray Coach Akeem gets his selection right.

We should easily dispose Guinea home and away but Benin will be tough. Their main striker is a machine. She is already top scorer for their U20 team.

That's a huge accomplishment!!!!! One of the revelations of Coach Madugu!!
What revelation? Someone that made her debut under Waldrum. Stop spreading false narratives here.

Personally I don't like it when a player features in U17 twice. It's a developmental competition.

That Benin girl can hurt the Flamingoes if they don’t take care of her properly…

Not trying to hype her but the girl is another version of Tabitha Chawinga, I hope the flamingoes will play as a team and also have Strong and fast enough defenders to match her Athleticism… she’s currently with PSG.

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m): 11:38am On May 23
I get the hype on Romaine Gandanou as she is top scorer too in the U17 Qualifiers with 5 goals alongside Guinea's Aminata Toure whom we face today. But the Flamingoes have got their own firepower and Harmony Chidi is also back. Barbra Banda got all hype ahead of her face off vs Our Super Falcons but we know how that turned out. So time will tell.

Guinea's Aminata Toure is joint top scorer of the U17 Qualifiers with 5 goals alongside Benin's Romaine Gandanou and the hype on Romaine especially has been loud. But some forget who Harmony Chidi is... I am glad she is reminding them again today.

Aminata is nowhere to be found today.

They have balled real good in that first half. They are not messing around and Harmony's return instantly lifts the quality of that attack.

I don't get why Harmony isn't playing for the U20s. We needed her vs Malawi.

Shukurat Oladipo and Rinsola Babajide are Domestic Double Champions in Italy.

OLADIPO played all 90mins as Roma beat Juventus W 1-0 to win the Coppa Italia Women Title.
