Nigerian have a mirage of problems and is in a bad state presently...

He can criticize the government all he wants... but Nigeria is dead is a weird thing for a public figure personality to make in public.

People ought to be careful with their public utterances... especially public figures. Its hard to see people from other nationalities make such comments of their country no matter how bad the situation is.

There are other ways he could have criticized and said what he said... it's called tact.

Nigerians are some of the only people that denigrate their country in public even to outsiders and it all boils down to patriotism!
Go and eat your public pride. We are not even rate in west Africa as far as passport index is concern. Useless pride for a drowning man

Poverty is not measured by the currency value.
South Korea is one of the richest countries on earth, yet the South Korean Won has lesser value than naira. South Koreans count in their currency.
Could you please enlighten us by pointing out the indices that counter his claim of Nigrerians being poorer than 40/50 years ago?

Nigeria is truly dead. You are only wasting your time. Something must happen because something good can come out of some parts of it. Some parts of the north to me will never see light because of Islam and bokoharam. South too will develop more than each other. Nigeria needs to break for hope to be restored. And a revival must happen. Many people must die like China because Nigeria is so corrupt.

Not a fan of this man, but I share this sentiment.

Elections are just reoccurring rituals that wouldn't change a thing...

This entity was never meant to be a country.

It was a huge diservice to the residents.

He should activate the Plan B he talked about before the 2023 election.

Imagine what a man of God is saying.

NIGERIA IS NOT DEAD Mr Paul. Come 2027 by God's Grace, Obi will become president and he will start the healing process and lay the foundation for a new Nigeria
Just as how he did in Anambra.
Yes the govt after him make not acknowledged it because of political differences, But his achievement and the reset he did in Anambra wil never be forgotten.
Come 2027, we will get Nigeria on the right track with OK

Is poverty measured by unemployment rate, GDP, GDP per capita, availability of electricity and water supply etc?

How do we compare to South Korea on these indicators? What is South Korea’s ranking on HDI compared with us?

Do Seoul residents drink water from shitty boreholes like Lagosians do, despite 100 times budget growth since 1999, from higher tax burden on the people?

Do you know what Stockholm Syndrome rationalisation and diversion means huh

Nigeria is alive and blessed. All the enemies of Nigeria will always lose.

It is completely ungodly to continue subsidizing the US dollars at the expense of average Nigerians. Now that Nigeria has been floated, it benefits our export economy and that is why our economy is expanding and the real sector keeps growing.

If he truly made this statement, he has already spoken himself into trouble.

For someone who took a lot from Nigeria, he should be grateful.

Even the police case he had then was 'settled' without causing him any serious discomfort of prosecution like if it were some other Nigerians. Maina's son had a similar problem with the law and got convicted.

Below is his brief bio on National offices he held:

2013 - 2017 National Deputy President @ Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN);

2006 - 2010 Chairman, National Youth @ Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria

He built a multibillion private residence in upscale Banana Island, Ikoyi in 2012

5 years later, he built another multibilion edifice in Lekki.

GEJ govt supported his ministry yet same GEJ govt was a total failure owing salaries of govt workers for several months!
The person wey do you like dis strong ooo to the extent say your eye don blind in all ways of life. You need immediate redemption

The man is advising, "Let's not deceive ourselves" ,yet you don't want to hear.
You still want us to live in self deceit.Thats too baddd!
The pastor is not saying Nigeria is no longer exist in the real sense of it.
He is speaking about dead in the technical sense of it.
So it's left for government of the day to sit up and ressurrect the economy or still live in self-denial with unrealistic statistics as if nah statistics we go chop.

Dear Pastor, is good to express our feelings as a person but on the pulpit we should be hearing the mind of God tonus. Pls sir, is this what the Holy Spirit told you?, let us be guided. God bless Nigeria and help us to overcome all our challenges, including giving us a God fearing leaders. Amen.

Dey play! Nigeria is not dead. The country is just there, making 2 steps forward and 5 steps backwards. This has always been the norm since 1999. In 2027, the situation remains the same.

We just need a revolutionary leader who is bold and thinks out of the box to stage the biggest upset in the history of the country by correcting many wrongs that current politicians are too afraid to fix due to their baggage and fear of losing elections.
