The food is not the problem but the process in preparation. I fear north food 🍱 because you can enjoy the moment but later have a kind of disease may be cholera or fever |

I alway say it, the south dey suffer when it comes to food. The quality of food a very rich man in the south eat, is almost the same or even of less quality than that of a poor/average earner in the middle belt. South no get food normally, to eat varieties and eat well, you need to be wealthy. I was in Jos with my fiance in December, she went to buy bell pepper and asked the woman to give her 1k bell pepper, the woman asked her what she is using that much pepper for? She says she wants to cook, normally one small bell pepper in Lagos is #500, so she thought she was probably getting maybe 5 for 1k in Jos, but when the woman started putting, my girlfriend had to remind her again that it's 1k own she asked for o. She came back with a full black nylon of bell pepper and it got spoilt at the end of the day, and this is in the street o, not even the market. Before we left, she went to the market to buy 1k bell pepper, she came back with 2 big nylon of bell pepper, i gave her 15k to buy foodstuffs, na big Ghana must go and plenty nylons we use come back, she had to chatter a marwa to bring it back home, and my friends wife still said they cheated her. I had to giveaway some of the foodstuff cos I no dey for extraordinary charge at the airport. |

These are definitely not the best of delicacies abegi. The hygienic conditions with which they were prepared also needs to be investigated (appropriate agencies should be notified). I wander why this post. They sell all of these stuff wrapped up in paper and paper ink juice all over freakin Lagos. Cheap food poisoning.

brain54:If you were patient enough to read and not be in a haste to counter, you will see that I wrote Ghana must go of 'foodstuff', Abi na carton and grass una take dey cook for your village? Is the foodstuff not what makes up the quality of food? |

| Re: Common Street Food In The North And Their Prices (video/pictures) by brain54(m): 10:50am On May 27 |
Cutezt:Many of them still can't afford the cheap food stuffs... That food stuffs is cheap there doesn't guarantee quality of food. Quality is different from quantity. I read and understood everything you said and wasn't in a hurry to counter anything! |
| Re: Common Street Food In The North And Their Prices (video/pictures) by Cutezt(m): 10:51am On May 27 |
brain54:Sorry to burst your bubble, if you are talking about the middle belt, I assure you, food is the last thing that worries them there. Heck people worry more about housing than even food. I can walk into any house in the middle belt and beg them for food, they won't think twice. Food is the least of their problems because it is extremely affordable and they eat well. Don't think everyone is poor there, I'm not talking about the north east. Travel more and you'll understand that life doesn't end in the south. I always don't like to argue with southerners that have not traveled around cos they are some of the most ignorant and educated illiterates I can think of. |
