It is about how much money we have to spend and how that will impact our priorities. We have other areas that are more in need improvement.
With Mbeumo, Amad, Lacey i think we will have to make them work for next season.

Unless we have 400m-500m to spend like Liverpool we should focus on rebuilding the midfield (minimum 3 top quality CMs), an alternative CF. and (depending on where Dorgu plays) either LB or LB.

If Mainoo is a no 8 next season, Mount is already 2nd choice. If we buy any of the other options being rumoured (Ederson, Tonali, Fernandes) , Mount will start next season as 3rd choice 8 behind Mainoo and the new player.

The fact that he is good should not mean we can't improve the squad.

Brighton played themselves. They actually wanted 100m for Baleba. They would be lucky to get half of that now.

West Ham are a relegated side. They bought him for 40m pounds and he still has 4 years on his contract so somewhere between 45m and 55m is still reasonable

I’d blame Rashford more.

Yes, he has delivered decent numbers for Barca in terms of goals and assists, but he gives room for people to question his commitment due to the lackadaisical way he plays sometimes.

Even worse, he’s on a huge salary. Plus he has cut ties with Man Utd and his suitors are very few.

In essence, Rashford left himself at the mercy of Barcelona. And Barcelona, as a broke club with rich vibes, will always exploit any situation to their own benefit, even to the detriment of the player.

Rashford for 30m is a steal but their goal is to get him on a cheap- another loan of, say 5m, next season. Man Utd should never accept that. If any other club offers 20m, we should make him understand that that’s his only option and quickly offload him.

From all indications, it appears we didnt insert an obligatory buy-option clause into the loan deal.

Ninja contributed massively to Barca's la liga triumph yet they have the audacity to dilly-dally over his outright purchase.

Perhaps we were too desperate to keep him away from Amorim that hated him so much and here we are stuck with the fella after rushing and agreeing to some bullshyte deal with Barca.

Really hate doing business with Barca. They’re a terrible club. And we often allow ourselves to play into their hands. The De Jong saga is still clear in my mind.
