The issue is that after a highly publicized corruption case, a visit to the President is followed by comments suggesting everything is now in the past. That's what raises eyebrows.

The EFCC Chairman was emphatic that Yahaya Bello would be prosecuted and that he was prepared to stake his position on seeing the case through. He vowed to resign his position if former Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello is not prosecuted.

Nigerians are simply waiting to see that promise fulfilled

It's only in Nigeria that people like you don't see anything wrong with the president of the country associating with dubious and questionable characters.


In other serious climes folks like these with serious allegations and cases in court are distanced by top government officials until their innocence is established beyond doubt in court.


We really have a long way to go as a country if we still have folks still reasoning like this in 2026.


I'm not saying you shouldn't support whoever you want to... you have a right to... but it doesn't mean you have to defend everything the person you support does. No body is perfect and it's okay to criticize some actions here and there once in a while.
