Good day Sur. Please Did you get an Email from York St John university asking you to send an email to Hench education to guide you to get an offer. And how long does it take to get an offer after contacting Hench education and submitting a documents as instructed?

I sent a mail to them directly and cc the agents on their website.I didn’t use Hench. I used the agent that responded to me first and fast. After sending my documents to them, it took around 5 working days before they applied. I got an offer within 24hrs.

This is simple...is the money you presented from salary? If yes then print your salary account and payslip for at least 6months and send to them.

Yes your payslip and salary that goes into your bank account must correspond there is no two ways about it.

I think you should fill in your school address with Post Code same as when applying for TB Test.
I don’t think most student visa applicants make complete payments for school accommodation or rent a place before a decision.

My father is my sponsor, and the POF was transferred to my account. I am currently employed and started working in 2024 after completing my NYSC in 2023. However, my salary is not high enough to account for the amount shown as POF.
I understand that I need to submit my employment letter and payslip to explain my activities since graduation and cover my study gap. My concern is whether this could be seen as a red flag, since the visa officer may notice that my salary alone could not have accumulated the funds in my account.

The whole essence of you working if for them to know you were not idle since graduation which explains your study gap.
It wouldn't cause any issue, if they want to invest the source of funds, they'll ask you to provide document of how the money entered your account, that's all

No I haven't. It might be network issue. But if it persist it might be the card. Maybe consider getting an alternative. Something like Cleva

Now I am applying for uk student visa and I am confused if I should declare it during the visa application. Yes, declare it. Do not hide it.
A previous Malta student visa refusal does not automatically mean the UK will refuse you, but since you received a refusal letter, it is still a refusal even though your passport was not stamped.

No stamp does not mean no record. UKVI may be able to match immigration history through personal details, passport details, biometrics, or information-sharing systems.

In the UK visa form, answer truthfully, state that you were refused a Malta student visa in 2025, and briefly explain the reason exactly as written in the refusal letter. If possible, include the refusal letter.

A declared refusal can be explained; a hidden refusal can damage credibility and may be treated as non-disclosure or dishonesty.

Is it normal for ukvi to always ask for payment slips and bank statements? Or only if there was a large deposit in the submitted bank statement for visa application and the person probably stated he/she is funding theirself personally through their savings or work?

It's a student apartment, the room is ensuite but the flat is shared with 5 other occupants. It's also bills inclusive and a very free environment. Kindly note that this post is for a room that will be shared with another female occupant. This is a temporary arrangement suitable for someone who is just coming into the country, looking for their own place etc....
