I think oladipo is better when we're closing out games ...and alozie when we're attacking
TheSuperNerd:
Shukarat Oladipo is so good that she is as graceful in the RB role as she is at CB but when Alozie returns, Shukarat will vacate that RB role. So where does that leave her? On the bench as the 3rd choice CB or as backup to Alozie or will Madugu start her ahead of the Old General, Ohale and pair her with the Defensive Lieutenant, Demehin... time will tell but Shukurat's case is interesting coz she easily starts for any other national side in Africa and some teams in Europe.

Imuran's speed na Mach 3. Lol
The only Fullback faster than Imuran is Nicole Payne…

I think the pool of players is very much wide enough now.. Just that Madugu need to do away with those Kafayat and co kind of players he’s calling up to waste spots.

Under waldrum this Senegal team will dominate super falcons
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m): 5:38pm On Jun 08
Isah Sikiratu... Not convinced by her too much. She almost gave away a penalty. That was a handball but I dont know what the ref saw.... I saw that ball touch Isah's hand as she tried to bring it under control.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 5:41pm On Jun 08
Sikiratu Isah not convincing at all… I will prefer Oladipo or Okeke there..
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m): 5:41pm On Jun 08
Ordega, Okobi, Ilivieda IN

Isah Sikiratu, Monday Gift, Toni Payne OUT
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 5:42pm On Jun 08
If Monday Gift doesn’t make the SuperFalcons squad for the WAFCON I won’t question Madugu decision at all..
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m): 5:48pm On Jun 08
These Changes moved Oladipo centrally to pair Demehin. Blessing Ilivieda is at RB.

Sikiratu Isah out as already said.

So we are seeing the Demehin-Oladipo CB pair closing out the game.

Ajibade's lofted passing is a joy to watch. Oshoala should be scoring that though.
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m): 5:53pm On Jun 08
See better strike!!! Damn! Okobi cross to Ucheibe for the Bicycle.

We scored from the rebound thanks to a quick backheel pass but ball had already gone out for a corner at the keeper's right near post.

FULL TIME

🇳🇬 NIGERIA 3-0 SENEGAL 🇸🇳

⚽️⚽️ Joy Omewa (49', 56')
⚽️ Asisat Oshoala (66')

The Super Falcons completed their double-header international friendly series against Senegal with an impressive 3-0 victory at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.

A few days after securing a 2-1 win in the first friendly, Nigeria followed it up with another dominant performance, scoring all three goals in a commanding second-half display.

Joy Omewa broke the deadlock in the 49th minute, rising highest in the box to power home a well-taken header from an excellent cross by Shukurat Oladipo, giving the Super Falcons a deserved lead.

The forward doubled Nigeria's advantage in the 56th minute, completing her brace with another clinical finish as the Super Falcons tightened their grip on the contest.

Asisat Oshoala added the third goal in the 66th minute, calmly finishing off a superb move after a perfectly weighted assist from Rasheedat Ajibade, who unselfishly set up the striker for an easy finish.

The victory ensures the Super Falcons finish the two-match friendly series with two wins from two, scoring five goals and conceding just one.

That was Shukurat who got shoved away. Sikiratu was put in a bad position.

Overall, at the end of his tenure, Randy did a fantastic job!!!! Under him, we had our best performances ever at the WC. Let us not put him down like some others are trying to belittle Justine's achievements.

We would come here and complain about Waldrum but these same people will say "he has not been paid in so and so months" or "let's wait till the competition is done". Now all of a sudden none of that sheet applies because it's Madugu.
