I agree. Nicole is a gazelle. Hard to see her getting into the Wafcon squad though. Schemerkhiz: |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by TheSuperNerd(m): 10:04pm On Jun 08 |
I actually think she was good today. She stands a good chance of making the final roster but the competition in attack ensures nothing is guaranteed. Schemerkhiz: |

What kind of truth is that, the one that had a bow leg or what what are you even saying, is this cos of the wafcon won by Madugu Or what are you now saying?? Pls come clean isan: |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Predator87: 12:38pm On Jun 09 |
Madugu success is off the back of Randy Waldrum. All the top players in this team like Alozie, Okoronkwo, Plumptre, Payne, Abiodun etc were introduced by Waldrum. How many young quality players has Madugu integrated into the SF? All he does is invite old mama's like okobi, Ortega, Isah etc. Our bench is rubbish now because of Madugu 419 callups. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by semid4lyfe(mod): 1:35pm On Jun 09 |
Predator87:Story story, story. Once upon a time, time time. Trophy score is Madugu 1 Waldrum 0 Every other thing is irrelevant balderdash. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 1:44pm On Jun 09 |
Waldrum has faced the tougher and more highly ranked opponents and changed some bizarre records for the Super Falcons on the international stage. Madugu has excelled on the African continent only. When Madugu makes the ladies play in such a way the average naija fan sees an L vs an International team but is happy at the fight the girls put up tactically, maybe we can put them in the same discussion. You want to suddenly argue he's better? Let's not forget this team was cheated twice enroute afcon finals under Randy. Present continuous |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 2:51pm On Jun 09 |
You can only beat what's in front of you and that's what magudu has done ...when that tough opponent comes and magudu fails you can say whatever but right now you've nothing to say ...for me magudu falcons plays better football than waldrum falcons ....can waldrum score 5 goals against Zambia ? He will score 1 goal then sit back daveP: |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 2:56pm On Jun 09 |
So basically same team right? But it's magudu that has a better record Predator87: |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 2:58pm On Jun 09 |
Dem say it's the girl's that won the trophy themselves.. magudu has no hand in it . It's only the girls talents but during waldrum AWCON the girls are talentless 🤣🤣 semid4lyfe: |

FT | Romaine Gandonou (right from guiding Benin to the 2026 #U20WWC) with both goals for Benin Senior in 3-2 defeat to Morocco U23 this afternoon.. I hope our U17 Coaches are setting up tactics to keep this girl in the locker room.. Our defenders need to be more Physical against her.

| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 6:17pm On Jun 09 |
isan:Let me just reapply your stance back at you then. Since Waldrum has been there and we all saw how he did vs these superpowers, something we've never seen in 2 decades, then accord him that respect. Did the football we played vs Canada and England at last mundial trump whatever we played at the La Decima? Tok true? We have been playing "better football" on the Wafcon level for too long. It has never been in doubt. But when we reach international waters, we are drowned. Waldrum restored that level. To qualify for Olympics kon be problem until this man. To take a top ranked team like France and England to the last breath was unexpected for a caf team. Waldrum did that. We'll fly the "better coach flag" if Madugu can repeat a KO stage football if he's going to take this team to the mundial. Till then.... |

semid4lyfe:Yeah this is why Nigeria is a mess in all ramifications. Short sighted people people like you. How many young quality players has Madugu introduced? All the players Madugu uses are the ones Randy introduced from scratch. If Randy had more time he would have won the WAFCON. Can Madugus SFs go toe to toe with England? |
