Bad fuel maybe

Good evening nairalanders,

I was driving yesterday and my car just stopped without any sign. Started the car and it stops. Continued like 5 times with situation and same result.

Called a car electrician. He checked the fuel pump, and confirmed okay. Changed spark plugs and coils and was just firing it not to stop. We managed to move it to a safe place. This morning the situation continues

We have checked for intake leaks, alternator issues or earthing problem but none was seen.

What is pending now is changing fuel filter, pump and injectors.

I don't know if any of these could Solve the problem. Only check light is coils p0351 to P0354. All coils changed but situation remain the same

Please help a brother

Buy enough fuel for your car, a bottle of ragolis cannot run a vehicle.
If you can't buy 10 litres better get a mate 50 bike

Its called STOP AND QUENCH. A sk your mechanic to change the fuel pump ..make sure it a new one you get ooo. This should stop this issue. cheers.

A vehicles fuel tank is at least 50 litres, the injector port is about a litre in capacity. When you buy fuel of 1.5 litres you're killing your fuel pump and injectors, know this and stop stressing your mechanic or pastor.

Buy a bicycle instead.

A my friend's sequoia ran out of fuel the other day, he rushed to a filling station to buy 5k fuel which is less than 4 litres for a V8 engine!

Are you going to advice him to change fuel pump too?

Ogbeni heck your fuel pump nd filter. Its easy to do. Chefk the pressure.its supposed to gush out like gas (high spray)..dtaining your headliner or roof...then check the filter.its supposed to be clean and pink or orange and white. If after every go to alternator and batery to check. Dey follow chat gpt dumbo dey talk.dem go spoil that car 4u. Just wait... las las e no go pass 1 or 2 bad coil wey no dey fire .making engine power imbalanced.

Same thing happens to my corrola 2006 model. It starts normal the starts jeckincg, then off. I'll need to match the accelerator b4 it starts again.... This always happen when the engine is cold... But wen the engine is hot, everything is fine..
I've changed the fuel pump, the plugs, my coils are working well too

Check airflometer sensor and temperature gauge of the car. It should work fine after this.
