No one is saying all agitators are terrorists, but when a group burns down police stations, kills security personnel, and targets civilians, it crosses the line into terrorism.

You can absolutely stand up for self-determination without weapons. Once violence enters the picture, the narrative changes.

I'm not trying to be smart here; I just can't look at destruction and call it activism. Let's stick to the facts instead of emotions.

Yes, he said agitators, not terrorists. But wise leadership does not speak as if all agitators are harmless democrats. Some are peaceful dissenters; some become gateways to organized coercion and violence. A serious leader must know the difference, define the line clearly, and show what happens when that line is crossed.
Take IPOB for example, In ordinary political language, IPOB presents itself as a separatist/agitation movement. But in Nigerian law, IPOB has been proscribed and designated as a terrorist group by the government and appears on Nigeria’s sanctions list.
So, politically, supporters may call it agitation; legally in Nigeria, it is treated as a terrorist group. That is the distinction.
But then Peter obi who wants to be President of Nigeria does not believe they are. Confused and unfit!

That comparison is lazy and false. Catalonia is a political movement operating inside a democratic state, through parties, referendums, courts, and civil agitation.
IPOB in Nigeria is not being judged only by its slogan of separation, but by the violence, coercion, killings, and sit-at-home enforcement tied to it or carried out in its name.
Agitation is one thing. Organized intimidation and bloodshed are another. Once a movement crosses from protest into coercion, it stops being ordinary agitation and enters a more dangerous territory.

So no, nobody is “turning white to black.” The issue is not the word separation. The issue is the method. A man carrying a placard is not the same as a man carrying fear.

There is a proverb: when a goat begins to eat yam seed, you do not keep calling it a pet; you start treating it as a threat. That is the difference you and misguided and misinformed peter obi are refusing to see.
