Nope!

What you see here is what we called a "chinko" and investors are watching and if this meets certain KPIs for them, few years down the line, it will be cleaned up for commercial usage!

So far the solar mechanics is good, everything is good!

Keep your eyes peeled because why bother about fuel if I have abundance of the sun!

Honestly, Research and development is all we need in Nigeria.

Not all this let's pray to God kind of mentality.

See doings nah
R & D is capital intensive. Sometimes even more expensive than the actual intended project.

Nigeria does not need to waste money on it.

All Nigeria needs right now is copy and perfect what has been researched already. Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea China etc all did it and are still doing it.

Maybe 15 years from now, you will own a big yatch powered fully by solar.

If not for this guy, it may not be possible by then.

Black men must dare to dream.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yacht

that is a utilitarian boat
there is no space for the owner to relax in the sun

it is completely covered.

below is a picture of people in a small yacht

i would say as an analogy the guy has replaced a gas powered convertible with an electric van

the key purpose of a yacht is not to get from point a to point b - but as a luxury sea vessel

maybe if he had used the word barge instead of yacht
Yachts don't have to be open top..Google is your friend

even Canoes are open top ..does that make them yachts?

And I don't know how you came about the conclusion that the vessel concerned isn't "luxury"

The energy from the sun is actually underutilized, if only we can harness all its potential we won't need biofuel anymore

All prototypes are crude.

The objective right now is proof that it works, and it does.

All the peripherals and luxury accoutrements can be designed to be lightweight, and we will have a true electric yacht on our hands.
I swear you are right

When you have all your needs sorted out for you by either your rich parents or the government, you don't have anything to worry about again than to embark on crazy adventures. Is it a Nigerian that is daily hussling for what to eat that will have time for this type of adventure? God punish those who have put us all in this position by their endless looting
So those living on the street in the west offend God bah... Westerners dey pay taxes like crazy and still complain about their government

He constructed something magnificent. Did a video of it, made money that recovered what he spent on the construction. He owned the construction with more money back in his pocket. Common sense dictates that sense is an absolute subset nonsense.
