The issues with Yorubas and Igbos in Lagos is what we call indigenous settlers crisis , it’s same issues we have in Ghana and South Africa.once the average settler is more successful than average indigenous people it bring resentments. Yes Nigeria as a nations have invested over 100 billion dollars into Lagos infrastructure over the past 100 years, but if Yorubas want to control Lagos completely because the only reason they think they have Control is really because Igbos are not politically active like Hausa/Fulani If Hausa Fulani had Igbo population in Lagos lmao it would be a different case As it stands today constitutionally if I move to Lagos today there is nothing Oba of Lagos can do that I can’t do , absolutely nothing If you want to take control of Lagos tell Tinubu to amend the constitution. He can even make it a law only indigenous Yorubas can vote in elections You people always tease igbos to tell their senators to present Biafra on the National Assembly now it’s your turn to tell your representatives to present your case You people can not intimidate igbos into Submission lmao them never born Una well All these Igbo this Igbo that in Lagos are just noise , do the right thing You can’t want one Nigeria on paper then get angry when the consequences happens |

There is no point in saying you have weight in a place you can't win one percent of the electoral posts available. Before you can say you have weight, you must be winning a substantial portion of positions available already or don't you think so?. Yorubas will not take Igbos seriously unless they can win five percent of Lagos posts or why should they? Responding to posts online isn't the same as taking people seriously. Then anybody can make any claim. I can say the Yorubas are more successful than Igbos in Enugu, Abs, Onitsha or PH. Once you are not required to prove what you say you can say anything. Your mouth is your bond servant. Igbos don't have any dollar billionaire in Lagos They also don't have anybody worth up to 900 million dollars. If you go to 800 million dollars it is also the same thing but you will say it is the territory where there is no census that Igbos dominate? Nobody is obliged to believe you but you are free to talk. I don't believe Igbos who are worth even 500k are up to the half of the Yoruba who are worth 500k because the population of the Yoruba is much more than double the Igbo population and everybody is working |

@OP Lol. Had to check the time stamp to confirm when you created the post. 11.40am, meaning you practically began the day 'high'? Na wa. |
| Re: To The Yorubas On The Lagos Issues by WizardOfNG: 2:18pm On Jun 17 |
lawani:This is why I accused him of being 'high' when he created the post. The problem with them is delusions of grandeur and gross overestimation of their own worth and capacity. We have done this issue to death many times to establish factually that the wealth of Lagos is largely and firmly in the hands of Yorubas. Yet they will keep creating silly threads like this. Their behaviour defies explanation. |
| Re: To The Yorubas On The Lagos Issues by DomPerignon: 2:33pm On Jun 17 |
mrvitalis:Your Kanu was calling on Hausa people to evict the Fulani claiming they are not indigenous to northern Nigeria and yiu all cheered him on. So why should there be a different rule to dealing with a similar attempt to declare another man's land as open for grabs by labelling it no man's land and going further to drag ownership of it? Your hypocrisy stinks |
| Re: To The Yorubas On The Lagos Issues by chopnaira: 2:34pm On Jun 17 |
Everyday Lagos, every day Yoruba. Heck, the Yorubas don't even share a border with your people. If you all put 1/5th of this effort into developing your own SE region, maybe it would not be the most unproductive region in Nigeria that your own people are fleeing from.

chopnaira:Thank you !! The matter is so disheartening. Na wetin Yorubas do them? |

| Re: To The Yorubas On The Lagos Issues by Christistruth03: 2:50pm On Jun 17 |
![]() There is no Crisis in Lagos If we want to get rid of you we will just close down all your Markets and convert them into industrial hubs and Low Cost housing Estates for indigenes You will migrate elsewhere peacefully by yourself We will even throw you massive Owanbe sendoff Party The fact that we are sitting down and watching you with amusement doesn't mean we don't know what to do. You need Markets to survive more than Fish drink Water. We will take all our Markets off the table when you annoy us enough |

Counterigbolies:What part of his post do you find objectionable? |
| Re: To The Yorubas On The Lagos Issues by Christistruth03: 3:00pm On Jun 17 |
DomPerignon:It is such a big shame and they were doing so well in Lagos All they needed was humility, contentment with a Pinch of Wisdom. Now they will force us to teach them how to behave properly in Civilised Society. They have no clue about the Tsunami heading for them I feel sorry for the decent ones among them |
| Re: To The Yorubas On The Lagos Issues by WizardOfNG: 3:01pm On Jun 17 |
DomPerignon:Indeed and that has always been their undoing from time immemorial in Nigeria. |
| Re: To The Yorubas On The Lagos Issues by Predictor3: 3:02pm On Jun 17 |
mrvitalis:You people just like compounding your own problems. |
| Re: To The Yorubas On The Lagos Issues by Predictor3: 3:03pm On Jun 17 |
Christistruth03:They didn't even need humility but to just act normally. But I don't think they can act normally anywhere |
| Re: To The Yorubas On The Lagos Issues by Christistruth03: 3:07pm On Jun 17 |
Predictor3:They are already crying that they can't rent shops and accommodation in Lagos again. Meanwhile they have not yet seen the beginning of it |
| Re: To The Yorubas On The Lagos Issues by WizardOfNG: 3:10pm On Jun 17 |
Christistruth03:Unfortunately, 2023 election was a turning point. Their antics over GRV was insane and opened the eyes of many leading to sharp rise in Yoruba conservatism where there was mass liberalism previously. I distinctly remember Obasa fuming after the election was over and vowing Lagos will begin making laws to protect the interest of indigenes. A clear statement of how some had overstepped their boundaries and has gone too far. |
| Re: To The Yorubas On The Lagos Issues by mrvitalis(op): 3:11pm On Jun 17 |
