Hi guys,

I've been admitted for MRes at University of Bath. And I plan to travel with my spouse and 3yr old son.

I dont even know where to start for the visa application. An agent was recommended for me.

Please I need all the assistance I can get.

My own is showing application decided on the date I withdrew omo ukvi dey confuse person oh , d day dey recorded my withdrawal is on my e visa ukvi portal as refused but the only thing they sent me was this withdrawal mail below and no decision email , I don't know if it's because I withdrew through Sheffield escalation/extra document email, funny thing is I didn't notice till 2 weeks ago, the day I sent thw withdrawal email to Sheffield was February 10 th because I noticed they kept working on my application even after withdrawing through ukvi portal February 6th and then the next day they sent me withdrawal confirmation email,

Now here's what my ukvi account currently looks like, carrying the same date I withdrew my application as refused

And the reason I took such measures by emailing Sheffield direct was because school cancelled CAS on that 10th and I don't want them deciding on an application CAS was cancelled on

This Ayomide guy sent me an email requesting for money to share CAS shield credibility questions which he might not even have.....This platform is here to help people and not extort money... Please lets be careful...people here have dropped VISA interview questions, even screenshot of VISA document request mai, while some other experienced people have answered them.. I wonder why someone will be disguising to be a student whereas, he might be a scammer.

Please don’t send any money oo,that’s how they I have the document,you can send a mail stating what you want and i will send it…let’s all be careful to avoid scammers

U have to save their email confirming your withdrawal. U might need to add it to ur next application and add a cover letter to explain what happened

That's on ukvi I didn't notice until 2 weeks ago because I didn't log into that ukvi account again after withdrawing and my current application was already done when I noticed and my application has been made since , they have the files they can look it up , I was shocked to see that when I logged in recently

Anyone has idea on the 28 working days pof for CAS, I thought once you paid tuition fee, your CAS will be issued.

The implication is with visa application I will need pof for almost 2 months plus taken into account 28 workings before issuance of CAS and then around 3 weeks for visa application? Anyone has experience with this?

We have answered this many times here,,d same 28days POF for CAS can immediately be used for visa application as soon as CAS is available... While waiting for CAS be preparing ur all documents needed for d visa application... Where explainations are needed,, provide cover letters

Thank God for a successful visa application for a sibling after weeks of waiting and twice contacing UKVI via their paid enquiry service. Biometrics and visa application at the vfs was done on 5/5/2026, and since then the wait, with no updates whatsoever except for the automated message about not able to make a visa decision within the normal processing time

Keep your hopes alive and stay positive. If visa decision is outside normal processing times, contact UKVI via their paid enquiry service with a strong convincing message about your case. It costs only £2.74.

I wish everyone still awaiting a decision a successful one. For those yet to apply, always know that honesty is the best policy, be honest all the way, if any issues, just explain with a cover letter (with a good prompt on any ai, ai can help draft it for you). You will always remember the truth, but a lie will elude you with time.
