This is nonsense and not true.
I worked with two Nigerian women in England. They got good paying jobs south of England, worked for a few months and traveled back to Nigeria for their traditional wedding (Igbankwu) and white wedding. Their husbands joined them after that and they are living happily.

My brother's bestfriend was taken to America by his gf years ago. It actually happens more than you know for many women in the diaspora. Forget social media, they have better chances in Nigeria and many of them dey run am lowkey. I have a few male friends who people are seriously trying to connect with abroad women.

Nah, not Ghana or South Africa. She went to France for her master's. We had already promised each other we'd marry after she graduated. She even got a job there and wanted me to sort out my papers so we'd get married and move to France together. Unfortunately, I ended up with a lifetime ban from entering France because of my anti-Zionism posts on social media. So the original plan became impossible. She still came back and married me. Not every story ends the way people assume.
