Can't wait for AJ Dybantsa's first game. Dude looks legit, like a trim, taller Zion Williamson. Wizards will still be trash though but I genuinely want to watch him play. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 6:20pm On Jun 26 |
greypencils:His combination with T. Young can be exciting to watch |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 6:22pm On Jun 26 |
Blueelf:Ahhhhh! Finally, someone else who understands me. Omo dem wan kidnap everybody at this point. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by greypencils: 7:47pm On Jun 26 |
Roland17:True. I am still not expecting anything tangible from that franchise until I see an improvement in their roster. AD is not it. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 11:13pm On Jun 28 |
This is why Boston isn’t picking JB over JT. See I love JB and since he was drafted, I have been rotting hard for him, receipts full this thread but man has allowed everything get over his head. He is constantly in the news and teams like the Celtics don’t like that. He just needs to say less and just allow things fall in place. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 5:06am On Jun 29 |
Roland17:I really liked him at first, quiet, respectful, puts in the work. Brother has a lot of knowledge, but unfortunately little wisdom. Guy just speaks anyhow, alienating folk for no reason. Reminds me of the bible verse that says, "knowledge puffs up". He loves hearing himself talk, but he is low key foolish with the way he just spouts off |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 8:09pm On Jun 29 |
The Warriors are chasing Ajala and AD. Shey na Nursing Home dem wan run next season? It’s a shame Curry’s final years in the league will be mediocre! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 10:06pm On Jun 29 |
Ja Morant to the Portland. So for us Fantasy Guys, Portland is a no no. ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 10:07pm On Jun 29 |
Roland17:I was done done mentally after the Poole incident. They honestly have lost the plot. |

Congratulations Lakers fans. You have your team back. Free at last free at last |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 8:39pm On Jun 30 |
A40:The Warriors are about to run a Geriatric core! Ajala/ AD/ Draymond/ Butler/ Steph Omo e go wild gan! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by typicalgamer(m): 8:51pm On Jun 30 |
Roland17:Only to make play in as 7th seed |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 10:11pm On Jun 30 |
Roland17:I don't think that's possible. It's likely AD for Butler trade I want to laugh at another failed Avengers Team so I can't wait tbh |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 10:16pm On Jun 30 |
Roland17:Can you blame him? He's always been dangled as trade bait for the past 6 seasons or more so I can understand his bitterness. When has JT ever been rumored to be involved in any trade? These are two players drafted back to back that you are supposed to join them at their hip till they're approaching retirement Yet your team keeps dangling JB as trade bait. I will kick up dust too when you're treating me like an adopted child |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 10:26pm On Jun 30 |
If you're a NFL fan spare a thought for CJ2K 40 year old dealing with ALS is an utterly cruel thing Gives you some perspective |
| Re: The NBA Begins by kushercain: 11:19am On Jul 01 |
Olden State Warriors. Leggo! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 11:30pm On Jul 01 |
JB to the Sixers |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 11:57pm On Jul 01 |
Roland17:I expect to see him downtown philly, dropping knowledge with dem NOI brothers any day now ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 11:58pm On Jul 01 |
A40:He is not even 40! I dont think it has been proven, but taking those football hits could not have helped. A very heartbreaking turn of events. And kudos to his wife for not dipping and abandoning ship. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 12:00am On Jul 02 |
A40:How bitter can you be with the largest contract in history? Which adopted child is getting 300milli? Bro was childish! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 12:22am On Jul 02 |
birdman:Keep the money aside. Those guys have enough to last them a lifetime. Looking through JB POV, you'd understand why he's mad. He tries his best and has to be treated like the middle child. Because he's not quiet? Anyways, he picked the Celtics. You're not bigger than the programme and they run a strict one 😂 |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:23am On Jul 02 |
birdman:I'm seeing 1985 in his bio. He's the first ex NFLer I've heard with ALS. There might have been more but not this young. Desperately unlucky to catch such a wicked disease And kudos to his wife too can't be easy seeing a healthy epitome of masculinity wither in your very hands. Life and what's is its actual point sometimes |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:25am On Jul 02 |
birdman:That he earned relative to the rest of the league. Not like they did him a favor. He produced and brought them a chip Why is he supposed to be thrilled that every other year the team is trying to ship him out? Is that what they are doing with Jokic, SGA and Co. Have they won more than him? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:27am On Jul 02 |
Roland17:My condolences mate. Your team is officially finished ![]() A 36 year old washed up Temu version of Jayson Tatum with two years still to go on his deal. Oof |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 12:29am On Jul 02 |
A40:There are some illnesses I could come to terms with if i was diagnosed at like 70 or older. But seeing someone face something this devastating at such a young age always makes me question how unfair life can be. It’s heartbreaking to know he’s going to be living with so much |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:29am On Jul 02 |
birdman:That's true. Na their one of their stronghold be that. And him na borderline radical at least on an intellectual level. What I don't understand is why the Sixers will accept such a deal. PG is the older inferior version of Tatum. This trade makes absolutely no sense |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 12:31am On Jul 02 |
A40:PG12.5 is everything I thought the Celtics stood against. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:31am On Jul 02 |
SmooshCHN:Abeg I don't pray to deal with anything debilitating that will affect my daily quality of life. The normal sleep and go is fine with me As far as I know ALS has no cure and your time line is 3-5 years if you're lucky. Problem is it weakens all your body functions and eventually even the ability to breathe. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 1:05am On Jul 02 |
A40:I honestly pray to have the luxury of a peaceful passing and that family and friends could be spared the shock of sudden, devastating news. Like a chance to prepare, say their goodbyes, and have something that eases the weight of grief. And yes, you’re right about ALS. It’s one of the nasty ones. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 2:14am On Jul 02 |
A40:There is a way I don’t want to speak about JB because to God, he is one of my favorite players and boy have I always rooted for him. I’d hate to come across like critical because of this situation. JT is the face of this franchise, know this and know peace. He fits how the Celtics works in terms of face of the franchise. JB over the last 2-3 years has earned his stripes. The Celtics have done right by him in every situation, payed him, supported his causes; you name it. I hope after he leaves he shows the city the love and respect.. but I won’t be shocked if he doesn’t. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:42am On Jul 02*. Modified: 3:00am On Jul 02 |
Roland17:Well Goodluck to them cos it's time to show and prove for JT. As the face of the franchise We get it he's the choir boy and baby face but like Michael Irvin said. You're not going to win a Superbowl with a bunch of choir boys. You also need guys like JT I don't think JB has done anything wrong. He's reacting as anyone that is perennially dangled as trade bait will react. Even Chet Holmgren despite his disasterclass and injury proneness is always backed by the organization. Celtics paid him his rightful dough nau. Do they want a cookie for that? Your employer can do all sorts of things but if they keep putting you on transfer list to a city that's not even of your choosing I think you will be well in your right to kick up dust What I'm truly surprised by is why the Celtics agreed to such a terrible deal. This is a generational head scratcher. If you had to give up more picks to the Bucks surely that would have been better than strengthening the team that knocked you out of the playoffs and making them an instant contender Cos Maxey Edgecombe Brown Embiid That's formidable |
| Re: The NBA Begins by etidy: 5:46am On Jul 02 |
People hate on Stephen A. Smith but on this Jaleyn brown issue he was clearly right. He must have had sources from the front office telling him how abrasive their relationship with jaleyn was going. |
