Craziest off-season ever. Celtics got fleeced badly. |

A40:You are choosing to apply your position from only the player’s POV. The Celtics have accommodated JB. The Celtics are renowned for accommodating, protecting and keeping issues about their players under wraps despite how powerful the Celtics media is. From “The Truth’s” stabbing incident to Ime Udoka’s issue. Despite how the NBA see’s the Cs, we take care of our own. Trade speculations are nothing new to NBA players and we know this. Every player knows they are the trading block so I am not understanding this angu. When JT was out and Infact after he returned and our playoff run ended, there were legitimate conversations about trading JT. The Sixers with Embiid? Hahahaha.. People that celebrated like they won a ring after finally beating us.. We shall see is all I will say about that. |

If this is true that your team's FO thought Derrick White had a better season than Jaylen Brown then your team is not just cooked they are fried Maybe your Celtics accommodated guys in the past but they did not do so for Jaylen Brown. Hell what did they even do for Ime? They fired him over a consensual affair. That don't sound like covering for to me Back to JB. What was his crime? Can you specifically point to anything JB did that brought the reputation of the Celtics to negative press. Was he breaking any laws? Was he cursing anybody in management? All that man said was it was his best season because of the adversity the team faced and that everyone thought it was a lost season with a team of misfit toys. The man was on a Twitch stream not in a strip club with guns making it rain on them heauxs. The uncomfortable truth is your Celtics have not treated JB like the franchise player that he has rightly proven to be. There's no rule that says he and JT cannot be the face of the Celtics. He's been your most durable and available player. You can't dangle him as trade bait over and over and expect him to just be quiet about it. Every player will not respond positively to that. Make no mistake about it. This is as bad as the Luka/AD trade. They beat the Celtics without Jaylen Brown and now you're gifting them arguably your best player. This means they don't even need to rely on Embiid as much anymore. You have made your biggest opponents title contenders. I know you will not agree in the open but deep down you know this is an absolutely horrendous trade |

Roland17:I wont be shocked either. He never fully embraced Celtics or Boston, even after the ring. There is just something about JB, he is kind of abrasive in a very low-key way. I dont know what the reason would be, but pre and post contract and championship, guy man moves like a quiet volcano. Frankly I am surprised Celtics stayed with him this long. Im hoping Im wrong, that he does the right thing, speaks well of Boston and Celtics and moves on like a professional should. Well sha, I look forward to seeing my two hated teams beat each other silly come playoffs next year. |

A40:Attitude is important anywhere you work, and definitely in corporate America. And I dont think JB cared enough to at least try. Regardless of how corporate America tries to butter you, you will know what they think by what they pay you. They did good by your boy |

Roland17:In all, I see you are hyper loyal to your Celtics and you dont care much about your players. I have levied that accusation when Jrue was traded. I am doing so again. Y'all final MVP? For real? Draymond Greene is FARRRR WORSE than JB and the GSW is still holding him. I dont care about franchises, I never did. But my players, I love them till death. |

A40:Meeennn! I am still trying to wrap my head around this meeen. I cant. Will MJ be MJ if he wasnt MJ? MJ was cocky meeen and the bulls never threw him under the bus. I never gave a shit about Celtics. Now I definitely dont give a shit. They traded the one person I liked on that team. |

birdman:In a league Tobias Harris has made over $300m I think JB would have been Gucci regardless. They did not do him a favor. He was paid his rightful dough nau as a lottery pick that brought you a Chip and at worst was your second best player Now to this attitude. Tell me what is JB's offense. I am still waiting for any Celtics FO defender to show me what JB has done wrong. Was he late to practice? DUI? Fighting coaches and teammates? DV? I'm still trying to find out the exact nature of his offense and maybe I can see your point. I am open to new information but if the Warriors can stand behind a nut job like Draymond Green. Then what has JB done that made him trade fodder every other year? And why do you think he should just take it lying down |

greypencils:He's a really intelligent brother. Is that the crime? That he should be a Yesman like JT? The irony is all teams need a combination of both types of players. You need the cool head and the hot head to harmonize and win Anyway all that is history. I hope nuking their title contention opportunity was worth it |
